Hello everyone and welcome to this week’s Tower Unite Dev Log!

Cosmic Catsack Makeship Plushie! - EXTENDED

Halloween 2024 Condo Contest - Results Are In!

Voting for the Hallloween 2024 Condo Contest is over, and the results are in! There were 192 responses this time!

Miscellany

Johanna continued working on finishing optimizations and art for the Plaza.

Joshua continued working on the new player models, currently working on the feminine model.

macdguy coninued going through long standing bugs in preparation for the 1.0 release.

Nuclearxpotato continued working on the Minigolf map, Dino Drive, cleaning up holes and lightmaps. He also worked on some long standing items, such as a new Shutter Door and Garage Doors.

Sketchman worked on fixing bugs in preparation for the 1.0 release.

Wheezwer created the November calendar and planned out events, while also working on art for various aspects of the game.

Will continued working on music for SDNL and the 1.0 release trailer.

Condo: Shutter Door and Garage Doors

The House condo's garage door will be replaced with the bottom left option, which will also be editable.

Condo: New Options for the Basic Door Frame and Window Frame items

Dino Drive: Interior / Later Holes

Why don’t you allow trading

Why can’t I trade items with my friends to use the existing condo customization features? You literally use steams back end for items but just decided to make everything not tradeable.

The Road to 1.0

Last week, we announced our plans going forward on our march towards releasing Tower Unite out of early access!

Johanna continued working on optimizations, bug fixes, and art passes of the Plaza, getting it ready for 1.0 release.

Plaza: Updated Peninsula Fishing Hole WIP

Plaza: Updated Lazy River Hang-out-homes WIP

Plaza: New Casino Entrance WIP

Zombie Massacre: Escape

Lifeless continued working on the Zombie Massacre map, Escape.

macdguy implemented level streaming code required for Escape.

Zombie Massacre: Escape WIP

The first image is Day 1, followed by Day 2, Day 3, and Day 5.

Miscellany

macdguy worked on bug fixes in preparation for the 1.0 release. He added proper client prediction to the SDNL Grav Glove, added a "quick bar" to the condo inventory, fixed some quirks with the Mirrors, and more.

Nuclearxpotato continued working on the Minigolf map, Dino Drive.

Sketchman worked on fixing bugs in preparation for the 1.0 release.

Wheezwer worked on art for various projects, managed the condo contest, and wrote up the "Road to 1.0" post.

Will continued working on music for SDNL and the 1.0 release trailer.

SDNL: Grav Glove Client Prediction

Condo: Inventory Quick Bar

This is a new small bar that has quick options for condo builders such as toggling volume visibility.

Condo: Mirror Fixes

You can finally see your own head in mirrors when first person legs is on.
