because i'm a ridiculous person who should be beaten with sticks for buying these games, i've owned most of them BEFORE the current sale and one of the things that bothered me most was the lack of both these aspects.
then again, the games themselves are fairly ghetto, and programmed with cheatbot AI. on the other hand, someone saw a hole in the mahjong market on steam and went "let's do it, but with anime tіttіes attached"
err, tldr - i agree with what the OP said, much good it will do me.
On one hand, yes, i would love to have Steam achievements for this, or any, Japanesee mahjong game.
On the other hand, I dread some of truly impossible achievements that the game-makers could put in. Tenhou / chiihou / renhou, anyone? (look the terms up <_<)
And I thought "just" getting a straight flush in Poker Night at the Inventory would be bad (still don't have it to 100% the game :( )
