This was the only game in the series I never played, I grew up on Outcast and Academy, and eventually got my hands on Dark forces. I played through the first game on Hard and, While I had some difficulties at times, I managed to beat the game and felt like I did a decent job at it. So I started this game on hard and even on the first level, every enemy feels like a crackshot, getting off several shots on me before I get get them down....

Yeah! They actually care about these classics and breathe new life into them. The game in its current state is almost unplayable (tons of unofficial fixes have to be applied!) I'm sure NightDive Studios would make the ultimate version out of it, with full compatibility, improved UI, controller and vibration support, up to 4K models and textures (that retain the original style), remastered art and FMVs, and more! (NightDive Studios are the guys who remastered Quake)....

I've tried running it with both the steam and GOG version. It boots up, shows white screen, then closes.
