This is just essentially a reskin on Vampire Survivors but with better graphics.
I'm not saying it's not an enjoyable game but from the game play to the mechanics are basically ripped straight from Vampire Survivors.

I'm not really sure on my opinion on that. I think they could have changed several things up to ultimately disguise that fact but only the main screen is really different options wise.

Maybe the actual release will be a lot different as this is early stages but we will see.:ac7lockon:

Vampire Survivor is one of MANY. There are a ton of games very similar to this. You just find the one you like the aesthetic of. I'm partial to Brotato but am really liking the way this is shaping up, I like the look. Mechs make me happy. I'm gonna stick with it to see what kind of other mech designs will appear later.

Then you can say every single Bullet Hell game is a vampire survivor clone. Because Vampire Survivor is the most basic standard Bullet Hell game and evey other games just adds something different

This game has different mechanics so does Vampire survivors. To compare the 2 is like comparing Battlefield to Call of Duty, same genre but 2 different games

Counter-Strike basically ripped mechanics from Unreal Tournament, or Quake (by extension of Half-life), who themselves ripped mechanics from Doom. This is games in a nutshell. The Genre is known as Bullet Hell, or Action Rogue-Like. Genre meaning it shares many similarities with other games in that genre.

The makers of Quake did not rip off Doom. They are the same people.

The entirety of this thread can be summed up as....genre successful, other devs make their own version, the're all the same at the core with tweaks here and there to try to make them standout, lol.

Personally, as a bullet hell/rouge like/lite fanatic, i'm really enjoying this so far and super looking forward to the full release!
