Do you have empty slots to equip them?

This is the first time this is reported. if you have discord you can DM me the save file and i'll have a look.

I have the same problem. All three slots are empty and I can't equip any of the pets I have aquired. Was there a solution to this?

EDIT: Seems to not be just pets either, but also heroes. Just unlocked stoneguard, and can't equip him either.

Ok, I got it to work by spam-clicking the equip button, both for heroes and pets. Around the lower middle part of the button.

I also had trouble with upgrading my gear since the information in the right side didn't show(the part showing parts and the upgrade button). I started spam-clicking the lower right side of the item button and it appeared.

Edit: It seems that the best thing to do regarding equipment upgrade is click and press the item picture, drag it anywhere and then release. Not sure why but it works perfectly fine for me.

click outside of the pet area but not in a manner which closes the menu, drag your mouse over the pet or hero, and then release.
In several places both mousedown and mouseup seem to be processed as clicks, not sure if it's a Linux-specific thing or not. This also impacts the Loom, Loadouts, and Skill purchases.

This issue just came up in my game the other day. It seemed to occur when my mouse (via hardware fault) double clicked unequip on a card, thereby unequipping 2 cards within milliseconds. Saving/redeploying to further change the team. The earlier mentioned spamming the button also seemed to work (could be related to system hangup, as there was FPS drop in that moment, and there does seem to be a slight memory leak only noticeable after running 12 hours to multiple days at a time without relaunching).

i'm also having this issue actually, 3 empty pet slots and now matter how many times i click on the equip nothing seems to happen. WILL try spamming the every daylights out of my mouse to see if that works.

im on a steam deck actually, using dock mode.

i cant really prove it but i think its double clicking at light speed when i click once. when is save's i get several prompts that it saved rather then the one, so that leads me to beleive its double clicking or more when i press just once.

Oh, never tested on it.

im having the same issue as other users running windows thou, i dont think its a steam deck issue.

while your around, i wanted to thank you for the game, i really appreciate its balance and i never feel like im just wasting time to waste time but im accomplishing things, also gold crit is so much fun.

Thank you, I will recheck that button control's event code, it always works fine for me. If you find any other issue with the steam deck, I would appreciate a heads up! No steam deck here.
