Fun for 2 People and a nice challenge Solo. Controlling 2 characters at once is quite special and different to other titles in this genre. I hope they add a little more to it.
Btw playtime is wrong, i played it like 12 hours.

Fantastic, and UNIQUE, addition to the Survivor-like genre pool, who's only con is the lack of content and large price point when compared to other- I say better- (while not taking anything from Archons greatness)- games in the genre..

What makes this game truly stand out is the co-op mode that basically cannot be turned off. If you want to play single player you MUST control both characters, with each character being controlled by separate joysticks but sharing the same health-pool. This "gimmick," at least when applied to single player mode, made the game so much more challenging than the typical survivor-like and thus, made it a wholly unique and extremely enjoyable to experience. The only negative I have with the game is that its relatively short. There are a decent number of unlockables but I got everything I needed within about 3 hours of playtime. I thought the pacing was perfect for the difficulty and unlockables that are there BUT I do hope that more is added; basically im saying that they shouldn't make it harder to unlock things and that things are fine as-is but I want MORE. Thanks Dev(s?)! I loved this game. I don't think it's worth 9.99 right now because of the lack of content BUT it is so well made I do recommend it. So, maybe buy it on sale if you can but even if you pay full price its still a great little game. I just think that compared to games like: Halls of Torment, Death Must Die, or Rogue Genesia- which all have a ridiculous amount more to offer and cheaper prices, Archons isn't stacking up well in the price point department.
