A lovely puzzle game in which Papa Hedgehog must bring his mischievous kids back home.

What is it: A puzzle game in which you play as Papa Hedgehog and must gather all the hoglets and reach the exit. However, each hoglet is “sticky” and will permanently attach to you, or to another hoglet, and that means that you can not move through a narrow space or turn if an attached hoglet hits a wall. So, you must plan ahead wisely the path you will take and where to attach each hoglet, making the right shape that lets you reach the exit. The good news is that you win as soon as you or any hoglet gets to the exit.

Each season adds something new, pinecones that also stick to the prickle, puddles that only the hoglets like to play in, and flowers that destroy pinecones. There are also several cutscenes showing the playful nature of the hoglets, and the difficulty of being a parent. The artstyle, although simple, is lovely, and so is the music. If there's one thing I think is wrong with this game is that it was over too soon, after the last level all I could say is “more, more”!

So, if you like relaxing puzzles with cute critters, or want something like Candleprick but easier, this is an excellent game that you won't regret buying.

How hard is it: Easy to moderate, with a few levels that may be a bit challenging. Each chapter starts with very easy levels teaching about the new mechanic, slowly ramping up the difficulty. Gentle hints show a key moment along the path to the solution and are enough to put you on the right track without revealing too much.

How long is it: 48 levels, 2-4 hours, you can skip any number of levels. Gentle hints that show a key moment in the solution.

Level design: Great, the levels are unique, with tight solutions, properly using the entire space of the level.

Quality: Great. Unlimited undo. Good level select, showing which levels are completed, skipped, or locked. Mouse, keyboard and controller supported, though the controls aren’t configurable. Standard audio settings, fullscreen and fully resizable window. Bright and dark mode, with an additional slider for reducing or increasing contrast. Cloud saving and progress achievements. Fast and responsive.

Worth the price: Yes, especially with a discount.

Most positive aspect for me: Lovely puzzles.

Most negative aspect for me: Not enough levels.

What would make it better: Custom level editor and workshop support. Configurable controls. Multiple profiles or progress reset.

A fun and cute block pushing puzzle! Introduces fun and unique mechanics I haven't seen in any game like this before, and each level creatively introduces new ideas. The adorable interludes and sound effects also add to the game's cuteness.
