We Patched Some Stuff

So let me introduce the first Ballionaire patch:

v1.0.8 Patch Notes

Content:

Trowel was "Whenever a trigger is removed, gain 3 rerolls.". Now, Trowel is: "The first time trigger is removed each turn, gain 3 rerolls." (Fixes infinite loops made possible by Trowel Swiss Army Knife)
Well is now Unique. (Fixes infinite loops made possible with 3 Wells and an Abacus)

Slot Machine:

Switch Gate is now just banned from certain parts of this board (presents as red X's during placement)

Pinball:

Switch Gate is now just banned from certain parts of this board (presents as red X's during placement)
Changes to physics colliders and overlap detection to help with stuck balls as well as Petrification/Conflagration Dart Trap not interacting well on this board.

Fishing:

Switch Gate is now just banned from certain parts of this board (presents as red X's during placement)
The fishing line was completely "stiff" when playing on high-frequency monitors (e.g. 120 hz). Now the fishing line should be have "normally" (slack and jiggly) regardless of framerate.
Changes to physics colliders and overlap detection to help with stuck balls as well as Petrification/Conflagration Dart Trap not interacting well on this board.

QOL:

Hold-to-Skip on joystick speed is doubled (skips kick in quicker)
Any action taken on the Profile > Reset page now requires two presses of the button to confirm.
Changed the way Profile > Unlocks page works. Instead of actually unlocking your content, the page presents you with an override that ignores locks when checked. This basically the game to allow all locked content to appear, without actually changing the recording of what you've legitimately unlocked. Vending Machine will still reflect actually locked content. Everything else, like Ballipedia, should behave as if the content is unlocked.

Achievements:

Added an achievement for beating Ballionaire .

Localization:

Fixes in all languages.

Bugs:

FIXED: If you quickly clicked on a draft choice after hitting Reroll or Skip, you could snag the draft choice.
FIXED: Rapidly clicking more than one choice from the Vending Machine draft would get the game into weird states
FIXED: When Continuing a game, Rabbit's Foot would re-proc for every Animal on your board
FIXED: When Continuing a game, each Silo on your board would give a Harvester draft
FIXED: Balls replaced by Petrification/Conflagration would incorrectly retain the gravity of the balls they replaced in some cases
FIXED: Credits typos

I had a Grape Vine (age 49) next to another (age 12), both next to an Investment Bonk (28 coins) on one side and a full Egg Carton on the other. It came out to 139.2x If I'm doing the math right it was 4.9 x 1.2 x 2.8 x 8. What are some other insane combos you've come across?...

i just like the vibes man, the funny dancing stick-figure that says "Wow!" every time i pick a new upgrade, they motivate me. I appreciate them so much especially after a long day of work.

Have you ever dreamed of playing a roguelike version of Plinko from the price is right? Yeah me neither, but this game is the perfect example of "just one more game". It balances difficulty with unlocks at a rate that makes you want to keep going.

The Gambling / Casino themed roguelike genre is still relatively new enough that Ballionaire's concept and execution feels fresh with it's well-crafted pachinko gameplay.

Pretty fast and satisfying playthroughs with some nice silly / goofball items and effects along with great physics.

Although there's not a lot of variety and unlockables, it's still a very replayable and enjoyable experience.

Gem Mine, what does "chain" refer to?

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3386918728 What does "each identical Chain consecutively bonked" mean? Chain is highlighted as though it's a keyword but isn't explained anywhere. Does this mean each consecutive Gem Mine hit before it, or any chain of triggers? If I hit 5 tomatoes consecutively before hitting a Gem Mine would the Gem Mine trigger 5 times?...

Vending Machine Empty?

Hi There! Was wondering if anyone else had an issue with the vending machine going empty and if there was a fix for it? Vending machine was full yesterday and started playing today and just found it this way. Have tried a couple things, but can't seem to get it back working!
