Gear up for thrilling action in the Pathfinder universe! Take on the sinister Tar-Baphon and its hordes of enemies in a high-stakes roguelite. How long can you survive?

In this update, we resolved an issue involving Secret #7 and Secret #9 that could cause a session to soft-lock upon leveling up when all six passives had been fully upgraded.

This issue was reported by one of our dedicated adventurers on Discord, and we prioritized fixing it to ensure as few players as possible would be affected after unlocking and using the new Secrets added in Update 1.2.

A special thanks to @eabrace for identifying this issue. We addressed it promptly once we pinpointed the root cause.

Additionally, we included two other major fixes in this update:

1. Passive Ability Learning with Secret #7: Previously, new passive abilities were only granted after reaching 100% on the one being learned. This forced players to learn and upgrade their passive abilities one at a time before learning a new one. This issue has been fixed to allow a smoother progression.
   
2. Loot Order in Chests: The loot order in chests was not behaving as intended, leading to major discrepancies, especially when using Secret #9. This has been addressed to ensure that when opening chests, the weapons, spells, or passives presented are handled in a randomized manner when the player rolls a dice to receive their reward.

With this update, a set of 3 new Secrets have been added as modes that will unlock when meeting specific requirements adding twists and turns as well as challenges to how you may approach the depths of Gallowspire.

Additionally, this update adds some quality of life improvements for some of the Martial Weapons that fell short in usefulness and power level in comparison to other available options.

• Secrets 7, 8 and 9 are now available to unlock ;)
  
• Achievements tied to Secret 7,8, and 9 are now available.
  
• 2 Hidden Achievements tied to New and pre existing Secrets are also now available to unlock. Will you become the Dungeon Master?

• “Secret 9” is unique compared to all other modes currently available.
  
• There are restrictions as to when it can be used.
  
• Using “Secret 9” will not grant completion status (Gold text) to other Secrets when used together but their bonus to Gold and EXP will be retained.

A new Card has been added for those with a surplus of Gold in their caches. We hope that its expensive nature will bring a smile to the face of those who choose to collect and upgrade it.

• All Flaming Skull enemy types are now immune to slowdowns.
  
• Minibosses are now immune to slow downs.

• Battle Medicine achievement has had its requirement reduced from 50 to 20.

A large number of changes have been made to the lesser used Martial Weapons in order for them to become more suitable and viable choices when using both the Rogue and the Fighter class. Please note that some of these changes are greatly related to and directly affect some of the new Secrets that were added.
The Gauntlet felt underwhelming and hard to use as it needed frontal positioning. This has been addressed by making Gauntlet now attacking nearby enemies. Rapier has been massively improved by increasing its size. Max level Rapier should now be a great option for Rogue and Fighter alike.
Gauntlet

• Changed from frontal to nearby enemies.

Rapier

• Size has been increased.

The Lance has been greatly improved to be a focus-fire weapon that is now much faster and packs a much bigger punch.
Lance

• Max DMG has been increased substantially from 300 to 1500.
  
• Cooldown has decreased.
  
• Range has been changed to be a fixed 6.
  
• Size has been decreased from 1.5 to 1.
  
• Can be manually aimed.

Longsword
The Longsword is meant to be the Fighter’s signature weapon that should be dealing high damage in an area near them as they risk themselves in melee range of enemies. This has been greatly improved for Fighter users in attempts to make this weapon more appealing to the melee playstyle.

• Starting cooldown has been increased from 1.5 to 2.
  
• Maximum damage has been increased from 260 to 500.
  
• Remains a frontal weapon for the Fighter that changes to double-hit when reaching 100% , effectively becoming a 1000 damage weapon when hitting an enemy twice.

Hammer

• Damage has increased.
  
• Size has been increased.
  
• Range has been increased.
  
• Cooldown has been set to a fixed duration

Dagger

• Size has been changed from a static value of 2 to increasing value from 2 to 3.

Ultimate Ability - Shield Wall

• Armor during Shield Wall has been increased from 25 to 50.
  
• Block rate during Shield Wall has been increased from 25 to 50.

Talent Passive Abilities
Some of the lesser used Talent Passives have had their values increased in order to make them more of an appealing choices for Rogue players.

• Powerful sneak duration has been increased from 3 to 4.
  
• Deadly Caltrops damage has been tripled.

Talents

• Force Mastery has had its power greatly increased per Rank.
  
• Rank 1 has been increased from 75% of your INT to 100%
  
• Rank 2 has been increased from 150% of your INT to 300%
  
• Rank 3 has been increased from 225% of your INT to 600%
  
• Rank 4 has been increased from 300% of your INT to 900%

• Fixed an issue with Pain Tolerance that was showing up as percentages instead of full values.
  
• Fixed an issue where Controllers could no longer toggle the Quest menu in-game
  
• Fixed an issue where Companions could not use Potions during both Local and Remote Coop
  
• Fixed some general text-related issues
  
• Made some major performance improvements

What's New in Update 1.1?

• Secret Game Modes: Ready for new challenges? Update 1.1 introduces several secret game modes that you can unlock and explore. Each mode brings a unique twist and fresh gameplay - can you discover them all?
  
• New Achievements: With new challenges come new achievements! We've added a bunch of new achievements for you to chase. Whether you're a completionist or just looking for extra fun, these achievements will keep you engaged as you explore all the new content.
  
• Key Binding: One of the requested features from you, customizable key bindings, is now available. Customize your gameplay experience by setting up your controls just the way you like!
  Balance Changes and Fixes: We've made several balance changes to enhance the gameplay experience. Additionally, we've squashed some pesky bugs to make your gaming smoother and more enjoyable.

With this update, new Secrets have been added as modes that will unlock when meeting specific requirements adding twists and turns as well as challenges to how you may approach the depths of Gallowspire.

Additionally, this update will serve as a major quality of life update bringing improvement through many of the features previously present which should give a bit more breathing room to both new and returning players alike.

Secrets have been added!
• These are new optional modes that can be used upon unlocking them to add challenge to the adventures but also reap new rewards.
  
• Activating a Secret as part of your adventure can reward the player with additional XP or gold - sometimes both!
  
• Secrets can be stacked on top of each other - including their rewards - to gain more and more experience and gold.
  
  
  20 new achievements
  have been added to this update.
  
• You can complete these achievements by discovering and playing the new added secret modes.
  
• 12 of the 20 released achievements will be available to unlock with this update. The remaining 8 hidden achievements will be unlockable with the next update as more secrets will be added.
  
  
  Keyboard rebinding
• A first iteration of keyboard rebinding has been added with this update. You can find them in Options > Key Bindings
  As there are a large variety of hardware that may interact with this feature, please do not hesitate to report issues on our Discord server. Include the information about your hardware to help us find the underlying issue(s) and work towards fixes.

A massive change has been made to the quest reward system. When claiming your completed chest rewards, everything earned will now be allocated to all heroes - including the one that did not join on the last adventure!

Redeeming quests will give the displayed rewards (XP, attribute points and talent points) to each of the 3 characters. Since gold is not character based, the rewards behavior does not change.

The Rogue and the Wizard’s HP pools have been increased to help out with early gameplay and give a bit of an added buffer to the higher difficulty levels. This will reduce the current gap between those two classes and the Fighter.

• Starting HP has been increased from 80 to 90
  
• HP growth per class level has been increased

• Starting HP has been increased from 60 to 80
  
• HP growth per class level has been increased

We increased the potency of some potions and their upgrades.

• “Reflection” upgrade doubled in power
  
• Rank 10 has been changed from 300% to 600% damage reflected
  
• All other upgrade ranks have also been doubled from their previous values

• Base damage has been doubled

Most card collection sets have been revised and their usefulness has increased, making them more valuable to collect.

• Card Upgrade Enhancement: Individual card ranks now boost bonuses by 1.5% (previously 0.85%).
  
• Chest Time Reduction: Sets now reduce chest opening time by up to 90%, increased from 51%.

• Single Rank Upgrade: Damage bonus per rank increased from 3.33% to 3.5%.
  
• Fully Upgraded Bonus: Total damage increase when fully upgraded is now 630%, an overall increase of 30% from the previous bonus.

• Individual Card Upgrade: Each upgrade now increases potion duration by 0.25s, up from 0.1s.
  
• Fully Maxed Set Bonus: Completing the set now extends potion duration by 18.75s, an increase from the former 7.5s.

• Individual Card Upgrade: Bonus Max Health per card rank increased to 4% from 3.33%.
  
• Fully Maxed Set Bonus: Total additional health bonus upon fully maxing and upgrading all cards is now 360%, up from 299.7%.

• Individual Card Upgrade: Armor per card rank increased from 0.17 to 0.2.
  
• Fully Maxed Set Bonus: Total additional armor bonus when all cards are fully upgraded has increased from 28.05 to 33. This results in a total of 33% reduced damage taken passively when the set is maxed.

• Individual Card Upgrade: Darkness reduction per card rank increased from 0.53% to 1%.
  
• Fully Maxed Set Bonus: Total darkness reduction when all cards are fully upgraded and obtained increased from 47.7% to 90%.

• Individual Card Upgrade: Time reduction for reviving a companion per card rank increased from 0.85% to 1.5%.
  
• Fully Maxed Set Bonus: Total time reduction when all cards are fully upgraded has been increased from 51% to 90%.

• Individual Card Upgrade: Damage increase to Bosses and Mini Bosses per card rank improved from 0.75% to 2%.
  
• Fully Maxed Set Bonus: Total increased damage dealt to Bosses and Mini Bosses after fully upgrading all cards of this set has been boosted from 56.25% to 150%.

• Individual Card Upgrade: Damage increase to Elites per card rank improved from 1.66% to 2%.
  
• Fully Maxed Set Bonus: Total increased damage dealt to Elites after fully upgrading all cards of this set has been boosted from 124.5% to 150%.

Damage Increase to Monsters: For all sets affecting damage to specific monster types:

• Individual Card Upgrade: Additional damage per card rank has been increased from 1.66% to 2%.
  
• Max Damage Increase per Card: Maximum additional damage per card has been raised from 24.9% to 30%.
  
• Scope of Update: This change applies to 32 Monster Cards across various collection sets, enhancing their respective damage bonuses against designated enemy types.

• Projectile speed of all ranged enemies have been greatly reduced

• Fixed an issue where HP bars would remain on screen when reaching the kill count required to move to the next level.
  
• Fixed an issue where, under specific conditions, your save could be corrupted and result in data loss.
  
• Fixed the purple portal that sometimes get stuck after a floor completion
