As the title says. I checked the options, but though I ask just in case I missed something.

I find both the yellow markers/flags/rags and the mini videos which show you that when you pull a lever, a new path opens extremely annoying and lame. Thank goodness, I won't have to run around my house to check which stuff got turned on or off, unlike when playing the first game, although I'll soon have to start to leave pieces of clothes to not to get lost at home...

Even the fact that these got implemented in the game is ridiculous, but then why not make an option to turn them off?
