Since I've been enjoying games in this genre, I tried the demo, but didn't last long because I don't enjoy manually-aimed weapons. :( Getting automatic weapons seemed ineffective at hitting stuff (nearly everything felt ineffective, to be honest). Movement felt too slow, as well, and the non-weapon meta upgrades seemed anemic (although I did try to get a few). The fade-ins between scenes also seemed long to me. Other than that, the overall presentation of the game was nice, and I did like that....

How exactly does it work? i thought perhaps its supposed to aim at the nearest target which would make sense, yet it seems to aim towards any old random target even if its offscreen, which is not very helpful.

I don't seem to see anybody casually talking about their wins, so here's a little spot to chat your preferred playstyle and favourite builds, to gloat about wins, etc. I'll go first: In the beta, I really was partial to the yellow laser, plasma torches and maximum magnet, but in the full release I've discovered I really like the Freezing EMP....

Seriously? It was kind of cute the first 30 or 40 times that a new game did it, but now it's just getting old. Do the big jumbo-sized pixels make the game any more fun? Not that I can see. One big negative is that it makes all the text in the game hard to read. Even if you have it for the actual game play, is it really necessary to do it for menus and text? What is it adding to my experience? I know this isn't a democracy but my vote is to get rid of the jumbo-sized pixels....
