This isn't a game, its cut scenes where the player gets to walk and press some buttons between cut scene's, The gadgets are annoying to use, the camera was the most annoying. The detective work lies in trying to figure out where the clues are when using the gadgets, highly annoying. The Scenery and visuals are excellent.

Disappointed in what I thought would be a detective/crime solving game that turned out to be a extremely linear, narrative driven movie style game. From the trailer I had hoped possibly this may be a Bioshock-esque immersive sim even but that was way too hopeful and naive.

It tries to lull you into thinking your choices matter and change the narrative in many ways but there are only two real endings. The "detective" work is not very respectful of the player, never allowing you to investigate things out of the order it wants you to go through them in, which really ruins any facade that you are coming to the conclusions yourself. There are "piece the clues together" sections which were more enjoyable but I could clearly tell you could brute force them easily as the game tells you every time you draw the wrong conclusion. I have had few games that give you the real detective experience of your consequence being you get the bad ending because of poor conclusions you have made. This game only punishes you for making what I would deem the morally correct decisions though the game, possibly just so you would have to play through it again.

The dialogue did not hit for me. It came off melodramatic and cliché so I could never really side with the main protagonist.
Ultimately nothing you choose to do in this game has any affect on the world in it making the whole experience feel useless. From start to end I feel I would have made the same decision as his wife if I were in this world and the endings (any of them) didn't change my mind. Ironic given the games title.

Interesting setting with great graphics

The main feature is somewhat similar to the Braindance from CP77, which is pretty interesting.
Unfortunately same as the braindance minigame, you cannot really do your own investication and deductuion. Everyting is scripted and yo uare just dong what the game sys you to do.

Never the less its still interesting gameplay. Its definitely worth a play.
I was hooked from the start to the end which is where I got pretty disapointed.

There are several endings where the "best" endings are closed behind decisions there are not really, clear were the "good" ones.
And the ending of the story made no sense to me, unfortunately.

Still its not a bad game, I enjoyed most of it.

10 out of 10 drunken detectives in distopian city would recommend
