There are games that are there to be fun and there are games that are there to be emotional journeys.

If that line bothered you, made you roll your eyes, something like that, that this really isn't for you; and their sequel probably won't be either.
However, if that made you a little curious, or even just wasn't an immediate turn off then maybe you'll enjoy this one. A game that is more a "walking" simulator, (you flop but c'est la vie), this experience is all about the words you're seeing and the way the visuals of the world are making you feel. A game that seems to, mockingly, question the choices we make in video games and the way they **may** change our story. Does this allegory extend into real life? Where does the anxiety end? Is this why we find gaming so satisfying and cathartic? It's all conclusions you get to draw; but they are ones you MUST draw to, in my honest opinion, even enjoy the game. You must be willing to think on WHY the author wrote things the way they did.

What emotions fueled the making of this game? Why were things constructed the way they were?

The name of the game is asking these things, uncovering their mysteries and coming to a deeper understanding of the work as a whole, the creators of the game, and perhaps even yourself.
And listen, that's not to say you have to go on some spiritual journey while you're flopping around a sewer as a fish. It's just a drop in the hat, as they say. But, every drop adds up. This simple experience and the gentle questions you need to confront here are just that, simple; but excessively effective.

If you were eh on this -- still go check out Mouthwashing; it's a much tighter story than this and is much more engaging.
If you didn't like this at all I still think you'd like Mouthwashing, but I doubt you'd get it so tbh you might as well avoid. D: Sorry!! Anywho enjoy this, I did!!

Would recommend, the grotesque horror elements and short yet concise story is something truly sticking. Unlike other triple A horror games, it is able to provide a superb experience without the use of stunning graphics or frankly repetitive gameplay/ scares. Excellent game to play on a gamenight, especially around Halloween.
