Hello Fellow Survivalists,

Patch 1.033 is here. Below will be a list of changes that you can expect in the new patch.

Patch Highlights

Grenade Launcher Buffs: Both 20mm and 40mm grenade launchers have received extensive buffs to improve their viability.

Achievement Fixes: Most achievements should now fire correctly. Please report any issues in our Discord bug reports channel.

Level Tweaks: Various adjustments made based on community livestreams.

Treasure Updates: Missing treasure pieces added and existing ones tweaked.

Lab Improvements: Elevator functionality fixed, and the Cryolophosaurus key door removed to prevent potential game-breaking situations.

Creature Spawn Adjustments: Slight tweaks to creature spawns in several levels.

Final Boss Fight Enhancements: Smoother experience with improved cinematics and combat mechanics for Matt.

Looking Ahead: Version 1.04
We're preparing for our largest update yet, version 1.04, which will take 1-2 months to complete. This major patch will focus on addressing level design concerns, particularly in the latter half of the game. Expect significant changes to 6 out of 8 levels, bringing more excitement and variety to both new and veteran players.

Elasmosaurus boss fight

I'm struggling to defeat the Elasmosaurus boss. Does anyone have any hints or tips for this boss fight? His one-shot water attack seems very cheap, especially as you can't dodge through that water without it killing you. I've got equipped the shotgun, SMG and pistol. I've also got cluster grenades equipped and several water (health) bottles. Should I be aiming for his head or body? Is there any particular gun more effective on him? Thanks in advance!...

1.02 patch (or some random error) has corrupted my saved game somehow.

Help? I used Continue from the main menu when playing for the first time since the patch. I appeared in the area where I last got to, the swamp. I spawned in with nothing in my inventory and no weapons equipped. I went into the tram to see if the items were in storage. Storage is empty. The fast travel system is disabled again....

Amargonyx is borderline cheap as hell, how are you supposed to beat him?

I'm at the Free Fall Canyon and have tried multiple strategies and weapons to try and kill the aforementioned boss and nothing seems to be working. I'm assuming Amargonyx is the boss of Free Fall Canyon. Plus achievements for the Purussaurus encounter and bulletwolf ant colony have not come up yet for me....

The Sniper rifle

Is it just me... or does it have some serious problems? 1. Damage is terrible considering it's meant to be 0.50 BMG. 2. I'm not sure a lot of the shots are hitting. I fire but there's no blood splash. 3. No laser sight to show where the bullet is actually headed, so you can't tell if an obstacle is in the way....

Game-breaking bug - all progress lost

After winning the spider horde section (where I have to keep the spiders busy while Senior fixes the tram station) I was kicked back at the start of the final chambers of the cave, without any means to get past the area where the plesiosaurus boss fight took place. Result: I am softlocked forever, this is a game-breaking bug that completely erased all my progress....
