The one change Asteroids Recharged needed?
Stationary power ups, or continuing in the same direction as the saucer. Giving the player choice and risking movement.

The constant stream of unavoidable power ups flying towards the ship gets really annoying. It's difficult to avoid shooting the saucers most of the time a d it just feels like there's no control.

Other than this, while it's not the most interesting of the Recharged games, I feel it's nearly perfect. But I think this is a big negative. Anyone agree?

I agree that power ups should not automatically float to you. That lets you choose whether you want that one or not. The arcade version has this. Wish they would do it here.
