Cannot exit Life Saver interface

Hi, I seem to be stuck in this save interface. Pressing the back button or B (I use a controller) brings you back to "save", which is the only option on screen. I had to alt F4 out of the game. How does this work?

Fantastic game - sandbox mode?

Very late to this, but it is one of the best games I've played in years. Have just completed my first go through, and am about to start again with a NG . But was also hoping to try out sandbox mode and the two stand alone levels mentioned in the news feed when that came out, but I don;t seem to have any option to do that. Was it removed, and can I still play it? Either way, a brilliant game that everyone should try!...

Question about Fault upgrades

I see that there are separate upgrades for increasing canister damage and increasing damage generally. Does anyone know how the math works? Is there a reason why I would pick 2x canister damage over 2x general damage?

I agree with other reviewers that the game overstays it's welcome. I got bored of the primary possession mechanics.
I also think the Immersive Sim has been boiled down and deconstructed too far, into something that only an academic could enjoy. Too much overthinking reduced it into a puzzle game. Because there is very spartan set dressing to the level's obstacles, the solutions your tools provide become obvious. Not that much room for deception and trickery.
Nevertheless, the game has dork charm even if the art and writing and music isn't captivating. I did enjoy the beginning of the game. The developer/s still support it in 2024 and they are clearly passionate about it.
