i wish these unity games would stop

I"ve been playing it a bit recently, and while I like the random monster system, and the mix of 2D and 3D is interesting, having to return to the start after each death, plus not(?) being able to save mid runs so far is an issue, as my game sessions tend to take 15 minutes, more or less. Does the game has or unlock a method to save a run to continue later?...
