It would be nice to be able to change the direction the slag flows in the regolith refinery.

I built a series of them, aligned well, and it is going to cost me 60k for all the belts due to silicon being on the other side of the map for advanced concrete.

You can switch the sides, but only before you place it down. Should be at any time

Built six large storage's near my smart concrete plants and well... im starting to worry cause my three multi-refineres are starting to fill up... again...
Hard suggestion to the dev team: Give more buildings slag input. Or change the ratio's.

While it is realistic to having to DEAL with garbage. I'd want to try and use it. Not just store it under the rug in a corner under the moons surface ;D

yeah Slag is a nightmare, and we can get rid of it, except we need the upgraded brick machine lol i don't remember what its called the one that makes bricks haha, that uses Slag and Silicone which you also get loads of, But its locked in research and you don't get the points for it.

I have six of the second tier concrete plants that use slag, (Not enough) XD

There is the market dump method if you need to sell it off.

No option to sell slag. Oxides for that matter either.

There are market offers.. sometimes. But i have only seen a couple, and 3k slag each. But they are not worth the hassle, as slag is heavy^10 , you need to send so many rockets.

Depending on how far in you are, don't use the mobile mining rig unless you have a very good spot or enough tech to reduce the slag portion of it.

I think they mean contracts. You can get some contracts that will request 3k slag and give u 100 of a science. It just kinda sucks cuz that’s a lot of weight so you spend a lot on shipping it all and you don’t get any money from it so you burn a bit by doing it.

i have 6 of the largest containers 40000 each nearly full of slag and it looks like 6 is the maximum you can build this is a game breaker they seriously need to look at this

I don't have nearly enough slag to make bricks - seems like 3 multi-something factories plus 3 ice extractors do not generate enough of it and there's no point in adding more, since even 5 furnaces per oxide and some random places here and there that use oxides can't keep up with what these factories can pump out.

Well......give it time. I'm using all my slag in concrete and farms. need more.
slag->farm->biomass->carbon fiber->...

ironically slag is valuable later on for food / carbon fiber.

to the extent that using it on bricks from the beginning is a mistake.

you can just buy bricks in batches of 1000 from orbit, its dirt cheap.

Buying that equvalent in carbon fiber or food is a little more expensive.

You can build them in such a way that the furnaces are infinitely expandable so if they aren’t keeping up with oxide production you can just place down more until they do. In fact you kinda have to because if an oxide backs up the entire machine will sieze and stop production entirely. I notice a lot of people build them all next to each other and only give themselves enough room for like 5 before bumping into another furnace
