Has anybody else noticed the transitions being really slow? Like when the screen fades to black and then fades in again it's taking a solid 30 seconds on my computer with a 1070 Ti?

So, I start the game and search the first room on the first chapter without any problems. However, immediately after that mysterious voice calls for Mai, the game freezes. I've tried pressing the skip button, the menu button, the arrow on the upper left corner of the screen, but nothing works....
