Is it possible to recovery save file?

good game, but in the campaign i pressed ESC and forfeit and it kicked me out to the main menu and when i tried to resume all there is now is new game...don't feel like restarting after 5h.

It's a Rogue-lite so if you run out of lives you have to start from the beginning. The old save gets auto deleted.

Yeah, in this game you learn the hard way that you have lives :(
I'm like you, at first I thougth I had picked the wrong option, to quit the campaign.

It's pretty weird, considering how many hours you can be playing just to have to start over. And no option for infinite lives.
Also the game is very easy until it's not, the change is very abrupt.
