And i can't play the game anymore, the main menu is disgusting to look at, the inventories were messed up, and not even changed much for the better. No skill was changed or altered in such a long time. No new skills. No new playstyle possibilities. Nothing. Without perkdecks we can't have something new to expand avaliable playstyles every few months. With Skill rework planned for Year 2, we probably aren't getting any new skill lines until then.
Jacket releasing in 2025 will be an overpriced player skin. Most likely no new unique skill line, which should actually be Melee combat related, since Hotline miami is about bashing in skulls and spilling guts everywhere, so we would need a melee combat system in this game, but we aren't getting it.
Gun bashing deals 0 damage even when it can still break windows, break wooden door handles, set off environmental explosives, but can't kill a guard. I bet his unique preset weapon will be a Jacket's piece color scheme recolor for the ZIV Commando.
There, sold to you for 5 dollars. A heister appearance and a preset weapon reskin. No new unqiue gameplay. No way we are getting anything more than that.
Armor 2.0 will bring back PDTH/PD2 armor so you can avoid using armor bags totally. Then focus on medicbag or ammo. Cool, eliminate the biggest design flaw in your game in it's second year of existance. Your fundamentally broken gameplay mechanic now needs major surgery to be fixed.
Nah man. I just can't anymore. And I'm just one of many.
dead in water project by dissapointment for development as well for the fans who still believed.
a failure is getting the learn about the learning curve and be honest.
And if you are a bit in the wrong do right by the People who believed and supported you All the way.
Maybe the shills are under NDA for that too? That'd be nice though. It's only something PAYDAY 2, RAID: World War II and Crime Boss had since day 1 but hey, it's coming alright.
I do think the gun balance is better in 3 so far. Most guns are usable whereas 2 a lot of them are useless.
The inventory does suck in the new update, I just compared to 2 and it's very difficult to select your weapon to modify it in 3. Also I much prefer the numbers for stat comparison. Why are there so many tiny little slivers of green/red where I can barely tell that it does anything? Use numbers or zoom in on the bar scales. Also the UI is ugly, make it look more like 2. Icons look better than long lists of text. We're playing a game, not checking out at Farm & Fleet. Crime.net map does not work at all.
Bring back drill skills, saws, c4. I do like that lockpick is faster than in 2 where if no one had skills or a saw it took forever to open deposit boxes. There should be more doors to get through and more bags on harder difficulties. Like Firestarter where there are 2 hangars on Mayhem. This would give more incentive to use these skills on high difficulty.
Lobby of games should be in the hideout. That way you can show off all your trophies and modifications between heists instead of the stupid defend your hideout repetitive mission that mostly no one plays. Lots of games do this like Helldivers 2, Warhammer Darktide, Deep Rock Galactic.
Make the skip intro on missions work like 2. It was fast and straightforward. People can't seem to figure out how to use the ESC to toggle in 3.
Bring back multiday missions and random escape missions!
I do appreciate that I never have to hunt for crowbars and everyone just has a crowbar, that should be kept.
Or could they?
No, Third World Bank is not good, have you SEEN IT? WHY IS IT BLASTING BROWN LIGHT INTO EVERYTHING WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥. Also it's not even theirs, it's LGL's.
Expect it to take a very long time now that they have a skeleton crew working on this game. I do not expect these hacks to go beyond armor 2.0 and reworked skills, because between them no longer being legally bound to support the game as per the gold edition and the absolute lack of players playing this game, you can bet they are foaming at the mouth to kick this game and its loyal fans to the curb in favor of a stupid ass dnd game no one asked for.
but currently all these things we are supposed to be excited for, are literally things that should have been in the game at launch.
