Tl:DR - This is a great deckbuilder game! It's snappy and has a ton of personality. It doesn't quite reach the highs of something like Slay the Spire, but it's very fun!

The only things holding it back from being S tier (IMO):

1. There's not a ton of synergy available. Some cards to play well together (ex, Card 1 slam a guy to the ground, card 2 stomp a guy laying on the ground), but I found I was never playing towards a synergy. Because of this, I can tell it won't be as endlessly re-playable as the GOATs where you can accidentally stumble into something exciting.

2. The cards available to you throughout the run pull from the same pool of cards, they aren't unique to your starting deck. For example, you can choose the "slasher" deck and not see any cards that add "bleed" until you're halfway through. It doesn't really make the game worse or anything, but it just makes things feel a bit "same-ey."

overall, I'm really enjoying this game and recommend it to any deckbuilder fan!

(as a side note, it plays immaculately on the Steam Deck)

  Those 11 hours of playtime I have at the time I'm writing this? All in one sitting right after purchase and I honestly don't know where they went. Didn't feel like 11; more like 4 or 5. I just couldn't bring myself to stop...

Deckbuilder, tactical combat with minimalist but beautiful art style and then you click Show Replay and the games gots you going OOOOOOOOHHH
