Stuck in Mortok System 4

I need to meet Ramirez to go to Kablo hideout. But need a 6 ly drive, I have a 5 yr drive. But nobody is the systems are coming up with either a 6 yr drive or the means to get one. How am I supposed rto get to Mortuga?? There are 2 hidden systems in line of flight, but no offers to release one. Puzzling as I have passed this way a couple of time past.

having this same problem. been flying around to other stars to try and unlock the unkown systems and look for someone selling a 6yr drive, but i could only get two stars in the top to unlock, one with an artifact but thats it .

I went back, to Cabracoy, and found a side mission. Took that which opened last locked system in there, now back in the next system, looking for side missions

went to Tero, then Frebeicon, immediately new nav details and 2 of the 3 locked systems opened. altazaafe and feunbocete - presume 6yr drive is here somewhere. Went to first now open systen and mostorga is now in range. Also more nav data - both locked systems contained artifacts. now - how do I fire a turret??? Ready to go to Ramirez now.

i followed your route and it worked for me too now i can get to the mission. thanks
as for turrets , as far as i know they are on auto. im not sure if you can control them. I got two going now and i find they are good, just gotta install them.

yes found out turrets are auto, and good. I made it along the canyon twice but cant take out the shield generator.

yeah that thing is brutal, i had to slow down as much as possible to get off some big bang missiles on it then go at it with a boosted weapons. maybe if you had the sheild destroying upgrade for the plasma weapon. once the sheild is down it seems to blow up easy.

thanks, will check it out, all I have is 3 laser or railgun mk 2s and 1 turret.

In started againm and am now in the position of 2 lasrers and 2 turrets and big bang missiles. How do you fire missiles, I actyivated it but unsure if I have a fire button.

I have just returned to Tero, presume missiles fire when used as gun.

well, finally, had one more go from zero. Every upgrade I supercharged the plama cannon, I fired it at the shield towers (Kabros) and they disintgrated!!
