Specifically, is there any story/lore? I finished (with a bit of Alt F4ing, for which I have no remorse) the Village Chief dungeon a few days ago and there was a bit of story at the end of that one.

Does anyone know what is the clear condition for the Beginner Dungeon? The town still has the food & party tables, Misla is talking about Melt and the party, but Village Exit is not open. I defeated FL 36 Boss, finished the party, and the village cinematic played with everyone saying goodbye to the player character. The credits rolled, I skipped to title and loaded, but it seems like the village is in a partial clear state with no other dungeon access except Beginner Dungeon again....
