An old fix to some of the mouse problems
"My mouse doesn't want to leave the upper-left corner of my screen. WYD?"

1) Download DxWnd (I've used version 2.05.16) and unpack it.
2) Set dxwnd.exe to Launch as Administrator.
3) dxwnd.exe -> Edit -> Add/Modify
4) Main:
Name: "GoME" or whatever
Path: D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Guardians of Middle-earth\x86\GOME.exe or whatever
5) Mouse:
Cursor handling: Keep cursor fixed
6) Launch while Steam is running.

"OK, but I also wanted to play in 1920x1080 resolution. WYD?"

*7) Main:
Position: Window initial position & size -> X 50 Y 50 W 1920 H 1080
Position: Desktop
*8) Video:
Screen resolution: All
Screen resolution: 1920 x 1080
*9) Now go to in-game settings and set to 1920x1080, it should be available again.

It works, Thanks.

Any guess about the "click anywhere to begin" ? No matter where i click i can't get through this screen.

Okay, just found an answer. I search through the DXWnd menu and found how to fix this.
In the "mouse" menu, i ticked "on" in the "mouse clipepr" menu

Does this fix the mouse cursor by freeing it. I just can't move mine when the game starts.

Thanks, that almost worked for me, but the DxWND panel always resets to it's default status.

Change the options, save what you did, and launch the game through Dx while maintaining it open. It can't "reset" if you save the options and launch the game throug the panel once you specified where to find the .exe

Everytime I download the apt, it tells me I need to reinstall it because it can't be found.

No, the files for DXWND themselves. I don't know what went wrong exactly. It just doesn't appear to install properly.

If you have linux & enable steamplay the mouse works right out of the box. I tested the game on a linux computer with steamplay enabled & the mouse works right out of the box. So pretty much it works in linux with steamplay enabled go figure.
