Return the old Neverwinter and the system that came with it !! LEVEL 70 !!

I play Neverwinter a decade ago and just come back last month, here is what I feel about the game. If you start a new character and level to 20, no matter what class that character is, it will be so much better than your old end game characters that make them seems like a joke. so im just wondering what i should do on neverwinter? is there a certain guild i should join? im asking for help is there a certain class thats easy to use like what should i do first?
