SA-IX peers can expect Route Server 2, AS10084 and content provider caches to be unavailable during this period. Route Server 1 and bilateral BGP peering sessions will not be affected.
SA-IX Route Server 2 will be drained of peering traffic using BCP214-compliant filters before it is migrated. Content provider caches will be placed into maintenance mode to ensure graceful failover of traffic to alternate paths.
The work is expected to take about 3 hours. However, 6 hours have been booked in the unlikely event of an emergency.
