Team Blue is the main team of protagonists in the Splatoon manga.
Description
Goggles

Goggles is a male Inkling, and the main protagonist in the Splatoon manga with the "Topknot" hairstyle. He wears the Pilot Goggles, the Armor Jacket Replica, and the Hero Runner Replicas. In the Splatoon 2 era, he wears the Pilot Goggles, the Lemon Mountain Coat, the Hero Runner Replicas, and drawstring cargo pants. He used the Tentatek Splattershot, and in the Splatoon 2 era, he uses the Splattershot. In the Octo Expansion arc, he wears the Sennyu Goggles, the Sennyu Suit and the Sennyu Inksoles. In the Splatoon 3 era, he wears the Studio Headphones, the Slash King Tank, and the Red Hi-Horses, and denim shorts.
Specs

Specs is a male Inkling in the Splatoon manga with the "Topknot" hairstyle. He wears the Retro Specs, the Shirt & Tie, and the Plum Casuals. In the Splatoon 2 era, he wears the Retro Specs, the Baby-Jelly Shirt & Tie, and the Smoky Wingtips. His weapon is the Octobrush Nouveau, and a few other brushes. In the Octo Expansion arc, he wears the Sennyu Specs, the Sennyu Suit, and the Inky Kid Clams. There, his weapon is the Undercover Brella, as it was given to him by Eight. In the Splatoon 3 era, he wears the Retro Specs, the Business Animal, and the Dark-Roast Boaties.
Headphones

Headphones is a female Inkling in the Splatoon manga with the "Hippie" hairstyle. She wears the Studio Headphones, the B-ball Jersey (Away), and the Red Work Boots. Her weapon is the Classic Squiffer. In the Splatoon 2 era, she wears the Studio Headphones, the Slash King Tank, and the Red Hi-Horses, and a skirt with shorts. Her weapon is the Splat Charger. In the Octo Expansion arc, she wears the Sennyu Headphones, the Sennyu Suit, and the Punk Blacks. In the battle against the S4, she used the New Squiffer. In the Splatoon 3 era, she wears the Studio Headphones, the Barazushi Black Tee, the Tenya OctoReds, and classic shorts.
Bobble Hat

Bobble Hat is a female Inkling in the Splatoon manga. She wears the Bobble Hat, the Green Zip Hoodie, and the Purple Sea Slugs. In the Splatoon 2 era, she has the "Haircut" style, and wears the Bobble Hat, the Gray Hoodie, and the Purple Sea Slugs. Her weapon of choice is the Slosher. In the Octo Expansion arc, she wears the Sennyu Bon Bon Beanie, the Sennyu Suit, and the Truffle Canvas Hi-Tops, and wields the Tri-Slosher. Against the S4, she used the Kensa Octobrush. In the Splatoon 3 era, she has the "Bed Head" style, and wears the Bobble Hat, the Duskwave Tee, and the BlobMob Flip-Flops, and loose sport shorts.
Personality
Goggles
Throughout the manga, Goggles is shown to be quite naïve and often not serious, a trait that is shared with fellow teammate Bobble Hat. In the first volume of the manga, his info in the Inkling Almanac reveals that he is a restless sleeper. In addition to this, he is also shown to engage in practical jokes, mostly pantsing other Inklings (notably Rider) and getting naked in public.
Specs
Specs is almost always seen with a serious demeanor at all times. He is shown to be very anxious, which he tries to conceal to the best of his ability. Specs is shown to have a wide array of knowledge regarding Turf Wars and various weapons, but he gets upset when others do not listen to the advice he gives. Like Headphones, Specs is shown to dislike the random shenanigans that Goggles gets himself into, like getting naked in public and pulling down the pants of various Inklings.
Headphones
Headphones is usually a cool, calm, and collected Inkling. However, she gets irritated by Goggles whenever he does something idiotic. She acts like a big sister to her team, despite being around the same age as the rest of them.
Bobble Hat
Bobble Hat is shown as very cheerful and carefree, unlike fellow teammates Specs and Headphones. She is also seen with an almost always permanent smile with her eyes closed regardless of what the situation is that she and her teammates are currently in, except when she was beaten by Skull. Bobble Hat seems to be the only teammate that does not mind Goggles' usual shenanigans of pantsing other Inklings.

- Bobble Hat never opens her eyes.
- For the Splatfest Funny Man vs. Straight Man, Goggles and Bobble Hat were on Team Funny Man, and Specs and Headphones were on Team Straight Man.
- Emperor joins Team Blue during the Ranked Battle arc because Specs has been attacked by insects, forming Team Blueperor.
