Ryo Nagamatsu is a Japanese composer who worked at Nintendo from 2006 to 2023. Notably, he has been the sole composer for Salmon Run and Salmon Run Next Wave, and composed the music for various in-game bands, such as Ink Theory, Bottom Feeders, and C-Side.

On 1 May 2023, days after Splatune 3 was released, he left Nintendo. Splatoon 3 was his final game with the company, including Side Order, which was released almost ten months after his departure but features new music that was likely written during his time on the sound team. Nagamatsu now operates as a freelance composer, producer, and videographer through his company, RHMusic.
