The Anglerfish Mask is headgear in the Splatoon series.
In Splatoon 2, it is a 3-star item produced by SquidForce and comes with the primary ability Ink Saver (Main).
It can be obtained by visiting the Splatoween news article on the Nintendo Switch news channel. It can also be purchased from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for

In Splatoon 3, it is a 2-star item produced by SquidForce and comes with the primary ability Ink Saver (Main). It can be obtained by visiting the Splatoween news article on the Nintendo Switch news channel. It cannot be ordered from another player.
Appearance
The Anglerfish Mask is a rubber mask that changes color to a duller shade of the player's ink. It is in the shape of an anglerfish with dark lips. The tackle lights up in the dark.

How to obtain
The news article through which the gear can be obtained is no longer available for EU players. NA players can still get it for free using the following steps:
- Open the Nintendo Switch News application and select the article about Splatoween.
- The article is titled Free Download! Celebrate Splatoween with this spooky in-game gear.
- If the article is not visible, subscribe to Squid Research Lab Report and allow time for the news application to update with Splatoon-related news.
- Select the "Happy Splatoween" button located at the bottom of the article to start Splatoon 2.
- Open the box that appears in the middle of Inkopolis Square.

Abilities
The Anglerfish Mask comes with Ink Saver (Main) as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 3-star item, the Anglerfish Mask comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the SquidForce gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Resistance Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) to fill its secondary ability slots.

Splatoon 3
The Anglerfish Mask comes with Ink Saver (Main) as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Anglerfish Mask comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Naut Couture for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the SquidForce gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Resistance Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) to fill its secondary ability slots.
