- Neotype: NRM 16091.
Type locality: Between Caño Pastos and Hamburgo, tributary to Río Samiria, Depto. Loreto, Peru.
Etymology: in honor of Abbé (Father) Florentin-Louis de Quélen de la Villeglée, chaplain on expedition that collected type. (From The ETYFish project)
