"Very complete design and with integrated systems in Wordpress."

    Posted 2023-04-21

Pros: WordPress has proven to be a very useful platform when creating a web page from scratch, the main positive aspect that must be highlighted within this platform is that it has an excellent plugin system, this system allows you to install new plugins that allow you to extend your experience within the platform, it is important to highlight that the amount that you can install within your WordPress subscription is completely unlimited, which allows you to extend your experience to the maximum, in addition, the configuration of the Plugins is quite simple for any user. The second positive aspect that WordPress has is the templates section, it is quite useful since it offers you free templates for your website, the free templates offered within this section of WordPress have a quite optimal design, which is quite easy to configure and allows you to obtain a very complete site in a few hours, however, you can also import new templates from your computer to insert a much more complete design for the web page. Another positive aspect is that Wordpress allows all users to configure the means of the website, the entries, the blog of the page, configure the logo of each template and much more, really the configurations that can be made within Wordpress are quite a lot. eye-catching and help me that you can set up a fairly complete site. Wordpress also allows you to configure the subdomains of the web, configure the WWW prefix and you can also configure all the sections of a page.

Cons: The first negative point is that Wordpress does not have any kind of way to reset the system when you want to start from scratch, there is no kind of configuration so that you can delete all your progress from the Wordpress account to start a site from scratch, this causes that if you want to start from scratch you have to install a Plugin to remove everything or remove everything manually. Another negative thing is that Wordpress is very complex to use, you have to learn a lot to use this tool correctly and not present bugs in the pages or templates that you install within Wordpress. The last negative point is that Wordpress does not allow multiple editing sessions, if you want to edit your website only you can do it at the same time, there will be no other participants editing the site.

Overall: Wordpress has offered a complete experience in editing and creating various web pages for our company, Wordpress has offered a very complete system that helps you create a page without having so much knowledge about web programming, this has been satisfactory for our company since most of our employees have seen Wordpress as the perfect solution for web development. I loved the general experience because Wordpress has been a very complete service in page editing, I have been able to edit each section of the website, I have been able to set parameters and access for each section, I have been able to set up a list system from scratch, I have been able to create new blogs and much more just by using Wordpress. In general, this platform has not given any errors, we have always been able to access our website, access the wp-admin administrative panel and continue an editing session. I find the general use of Wordpress to be quite complex, you need to learn how to properly configure Wordpress with your web page, this process can take a couple of days, also configuring each section separately without having a drag and drop tool also causes that Wordpress more difficult to learn to use for the first time. I will continue to use Wordpress for the main remodeling and design of our website.

"Great for amateurs and pros, but hard if you're in the middle"

    Posted 2023-02-17

Pros: Huge selections of free and premium themes.
    Extensive library of documentation.
Simple to get up and running by just changing text and images.

Cons: Customizability varies with themes, and no size fits all.
Documentation does not apply to all themes, so library is hit or miss.
Templates difficult to modify for working "outside of the box".
User interface is geared to the novice, making it difficult to customize.

Overall: Highly recommended for beginners or experts, but found that I was too advanced to be happy inside the theme boxes, and not advanced enough to take advantage of buried features. I've since switched to more conventional site-design software.

"Most complete SaaS platform for the creation of websites."

    Posted 2023-02-08

Pros: * I had been using other site building platforms, but most of these site builders regardless of whether it is paid or not almost all allow you to create a very simple website so there is not much you can do other than the simple editing that those sites have There are platforms that can implement code and that elements can be interacted with code, making everything much easier and without requiring any installation to be able to use it, but I consider that WordPress is more complete because it gives greater freedom when building a site from scratch. In addition to the fact that the implementation of code for more advanced users is very essential, which is possible to use them in WordPress without any problem.

    * The way to create a website without implementing a single command or code is very nice and allows anyone with a small business to create a website without having to learn all the interface and its different elements that they can be added on the website, thus making it accessible to everyone. This platform also offers a hosting service allowing you not to need to configure a server and its different configurations, but simply choose a plan, select certain parameters and everything will already be in the cloud, which is also worth noting that you have backup copies. and that privacy is maintained since each user has protection against attacks and that their information and the files hosted on the created website are kept safe. There are also different sites that allow you to create websites with WordPress and that have personal web hosting without having to use WordPress hosting, so it may or may not be cheaper or more expensive, it would depend on the user and your needs as well as how much security you require.

    * I can have multiple versions of a created website and also be able to assign a name to it in order to have a better administration when I am making changes or updating a created website, so I don't have problems if a version fails because I will always have the version where everything was working properly without losing anything in the process. So I also have automatic backup copies that WordPress itself makes and that has a long capacity of time, so if I did not make a copy of the most recent version of the website created then I can go to the history of automatic backups and I will have everything there without fear that time has passed and they have been deleted since it has a long period of backup copies for practical use in cases of loss or something that did not work well after the last update of the website.

Cons: * There is no safe way that WordPress can immediately detect the injection of malicious code to my website through plugins or templates, this makes any website that I want to create and that when I take shortcuts using plugins or templates has to wait up to a week doing tests so that both WordPress and myself can detect if the website has unwanted changes through some code that harms the website that I am creating. So, this makes me consider two possible paths, try different templates or plugins until I get something safe or simply do everything from scratch and have personal templates prepared to maintain the integrity and security of each website created. Also, this does not apply to me but to every individual or person who wants to use WordPress as a website editor.

    * The templates that this platform brings are too outdated and are not very functional, in addition to the way in which the templates are made it seems that they do not adapt to the web model that exists today, so a site can seem very obsolete web if you want to work based on the free templates that WordPress has. The way in which I can have updated templates is that I use third-party templates which are much more modern than the templates of this platform, but I can also have a security problem when exposing myself to themes that have malicious code as I mentioned before, making me have to take risks or do everything from scratch.

    * Being able to document is very difficult if you want to use WordPress as a website creator since the documentation of this platform does not provide many examples for the use of all the functionalities, tending that the user has to take courses, search the community or use platforms like YouTube to be able to be guided by the best practices to create a professional website and also obtain better performance. I would recommend that WordPress have a learning space or tutorials that allow any type of user to be able to easily train themselves in how to use the tools that this platform offers effectively and thus be able to take full advantage of it, being able to create the best websites that work. and they look very professional.

Overall: I use WordPress a lot to create different websites for various companies, especially small companies that want to have a website in a very short time, so this platform seemed ideal for this job. WordPress also gives me the possibility of applying SEO and that the websites that I am creating have a good positioning in the different search engines, thus being able to have good results when I want to have the best traffic on a website.

Building with this platform has allowed me to create web pages without using any HTML code, in case I need it I can apply it anyway, but I already have several sites where I can buy plugins or themes that make my work easier, being able to optimize even more. the way I create a website, having a complete experience and functionality.

"WordPress extends the way you can build a website from scratch."

    Posted 2022-12-18

Pros: WordPress is an incredible tool to be able to create a web page from scratch, we have used this platform of our company to be able to edit and create new pages for that company, one of the main features that I liked about this platform is the great variety of plugins that allows me to install within it, that platform allows me to install more than 10 flows within my WordPress account, therefore, these plugins help to extend my experience within this platform and also allow me to extend the edition and the customization of my website, I have loved the great compatibility that Wordpress has with all kinds of plugins, in addition, This platform allows me to search for any type of plugins online, but it also allows you to install any plugin that I have stored on my computer thanks to the plugin import system. Another feature that I liked about this platform is that it has an integrated web page creation or customization system, with this system you can create and edit a page as a drag and drop system, this editing system is quite easy to use. use and allows you to fully edit the page, but also gives you the ease of installing a website builder by installing the plugin, I have loved the fact that I can install new plugins that better at editing my website. Another of the features that I liked about this platform is the low consumption it has on computers, in another touch when configuring my WordPress system, the experience and I uploaded it from my computer is not affected at any time, In addition, when it comes to customizing my website and inserting new elements into my website in this editor, the experience on my computer is not affected either, for which reason, I have loved the fact that WordPress does not consume as much resources of the computer while the web page editing system works, this is innovative to be able to create a page without any kind of delay.

Cons: WordPress is quite a powerful platform when it comes to creating a website from scratch, it has many tools and many configurations that allow you to create a fairly complete website, however, the main negative feature that I have noticed about this platform is that It is quite difficult to configure for the first time, in addition, the installation system of themes and templates is quite complicated to use, therefore, we see that they always have complexity when it comes to adapting to this system of using themes or templates. Therefore, I believe that Wordpress should create a much easier system to be able to insert templates or insert a theme within the web page that is being created. Another thing I didn't like about Wordpress is that despite the fact that this website builder offers a pretty good and powerful service, I still consider this tool to be much more expensive than any other that exists on the market. , I consider that the functionalities that it offers are quite good and positive for any company, and help me to create a very personalized website, but the prices are not the best, it offers extremely high prices compared to its competition.

Overall: WordPress has been a platform that has met all my expectations, I am very happy with having used this platform to create my website from scratch, thanks to the fact that this platform has allowed me to insert any type of include within my website, that gives me it has helped to extend my website and the things that can be done within it, also this platform has allowed me to create a website much easier, the website editor and builder is quite easy to use, anyone without experience I could create a website from scratch thanks to this editor, however, it is very necessary that this platform implement a better configuration system and a better system to upload or use any theme, since the current system is more difficult to use than any other platform, which makes it difficult for users to adapt to the configurations of this platform. I am very happy with the results that this platform has brought me during all this time, the website creation process has been quite pleasant, I do not have any kind of complaint, however, it is very necessary that the prices of this platform improve, since they are too high. WordPress offers a fairly solid platform, they do not have high consumption within any computer, in addition, you can insert any type of object or element from your website.

"The most complete platform for hosting and creating websites."

    Posted 2022-12-08

Pros: The best part of this platform is being able to host any website for free, obviously having limitations, however I consider that it is very complete in offering its hosting service and its web builder tool without any problem and for any type of business .

It has more templates than any website builder on the market. This is very useful for inexperienced people as it allows you to speed up the process by being able to choose a theme for your business website without so many complications.

Plugins are a good tool as they allow the site creator more freedom to do many things that are not available in the WordPress web editor. I recommend that you hire an expert on this subject since it is a delicate section and if you already have knowledge of plugins, be careful because there are drawbacks with this tool, but that would go into the negative aspects of this platform.

The control panel is very complete, there is nothing that cannot be controlled in a website when it is being created or managed. This is very useful as it allows you to customize every aspect of the site without running into walls that do not allow you to perform certain actions, but this is not the case with WordPress.

It has backup copies depending on the plan will be the frequency of the backup copies, this will be very useful for me because I had a problem with certain versions of my website which I was able to solve with the backup copies and leave everything as it was before of the problem occurring.

Cons: - It requires great knowledge to use this platform, it is not for nothing that it is possible to create any website without any limits. When I started using WordPress, everything was confusing, the configuration is extremely difficult and preparing everything to only use the editor takes a long time to master this platform.

    - Beware of malicious plugins, there is too much exposure to danger within this platform, keep in mind that not all malicious plugins can be detected by WordPress as I had a bad experience with this which at no time did the panel notify me that I had a plugins that obtained important data from my site and I realized it was from other sources, I am not saying that the protection of this site is bad but it can be vulnerable in certain cases.

    - The way in which an image gallery can be displayed is very limited, there are practically few ways in which I can display photos on my website, it can be solved with a bit of web programming, however it is not the idea since practicality is required when making a Nocode website.

    - It takes time to install a theme sold by a third party. I had a really hard time being able to apply a theme as I didn't want to start from scratch. However, I was not able to achieve this goal because most of the themes I found to suit my website had plugins that hindered the performance of my company's website. So I had to build the website in parts and add similar features to other themes to have the ideal website for my company without compromising or corrupting anything.

Overall: I use WordPress to manage my company's website because I found it to be a more complete editing platform without programming than others, plus I can add practically whatever I can think of to my company's website without any limitations. I had previously tried basic editors like Zyro, BlueHost and GoDaddy but found they lacked the freedom to add what I wanted to appear on my website. The Wix editor is more complete in relation to the last 3 editors that I have just mentioned, however it consumes a lot of my PC's resources by adding many elements to my website and also it takes time to load and it is not as free as WordPress.

I recommend small organizations that want to host their website on this platform to first try everything possible before hiring the service. It is preferable to always carry out a test to be able to rule out possible errors that a website may have before being published, this way it is verified that everything will work for a long period without worrying that your site has failures. In addition, security is a fundamental issue since it can compromise private or valuable information that should not be shared by third parties, so you have to investigate everything about this site very well and if it is possible to hire both backend and frontend web designers to make everything work. correctly.

    "The most complete website builder."

    Posted 2022-09-22

Pros: ° It is very complete for website developers, it has web programming that allows any designer and developer of web pages to be free in what they want to create. This is very good since whatever comes to mind the person who is developing can add even the smallest thing that he wants to have on his website.

° I can add both WordPress and third-party plugins. This is very useful when I just want to buy just one plugin to add them to the website without the need to program since another person can do it for me, just try and if I like it I buy it since this is useful with functionalities that I need .

° The freedom to design websites with code allows creators to sell their own templates at the price they want and with all the features they want to add without any limitations. It's great that WordPress allows options like this, as it makes the template landscape more open than the basic templates that are on this platform.

° If you are just starting out in the world of WordPress, the basic templates can be very helpful, they are not very useful to create a professional website since you cannot do much with them but you can start touching things before creating or buying a website template.

° I like that it has the implementation of forms, email marketing and other integrations that have to do with marketing so that you can have functions from other platforms within the same site without having to leave WordPress. It makes this a lot easier as I can implement the marketing platforms I already use with the WordPress ones.

Cons: ° It requires some experience in programming websites if you want to do more than just use a template and edit it, such as plugins which are not difficult to install but do require a certain level for everything to work correctly. Also, if you want to add more advanced features, you should hire an expert or learn programming to do what you want with your website.

° You have to register the domain and the webhosting for everything to work, at the moment I use NameCheap, which fits perfectly for this job, but nevertheless you have to do all this process manually for everything to work because otherwise you will only have your web page without no one to access.

° The templates of this website are too basic compared to other web editors, I was very disappointed that apart from having to pay for an excessively expensive plan I also have to buy templates which are not cheap at all.

° I have to buy a high Premium plan to be able to use the purchased templates and use their plugins. It annoys me that it's a sweet deal since you have to pay for more features than the almost basic average plan should have. There would have to be a balance regarding which plan to buy to use the templates that I buy and not have to pay more, otherwise it could already be a commission to the seller of the template.

° Lately the WordPress vulnerabilities have been serious, my website was attacked once and luckily we were able to restore a previous copy which was not infected. I am concerned about this and sometimes think about switching to another editor and starting over if they don't fix the security issues.

Overall: When I started my company I used several web editors since I didn't know how I could make my site, I used very basic templates which were eye-catching but very simple, with basic functions that didn't do much. Now with this platform I have been able to carry out everything I have learned about web page design and I have raised my site from the bottom with all the functions that this platform offers me to have a good and complete website. I have been able to notice an improvement in my return thanks to the fact that my website receives innumerable visits and I have also been able to successfully make sales. In addition, I have been able to get potential clients that expose more sales of the services that my company offers. My website has become a professional site thanks to this platform and it has also been easy for me and my work team, thus being able to work collaboratively more easily.

    "Amazingly extensible website platform"

    Posted 2022-07-21

Pros: - very easy to get started
    - included as a cpanel template in most self hosted web hosting plans
    - extremely extensible and customizable
    - can be used for ecommerce, normal site, or blog
    - huge ecosystem of free and paid plugins and themes
    - can be used by almost anyone, with no web dev experience required
    - it's completely free!

Cons: - requires constant updates due to security vulnerabilities in the platform
    - uses PHP under the hood, which is less than stellar to work with and can be slower than other options

Overall: WordPress runs a third of the world's sites for a reason. It's extremely intuitive to use, to the point that people with no web development experience can create their own site. It can be customized any way you desire. It has a huge plugin ecosystem. And best of all, it's free!

Pros: This is great for project sites or mock up site ideas. There were a bunch of features and I used it for school projects a lot.

Cons: Would not recommend this for a dedicated website creator. It does not have enough creative ability to be able to really show off a product or service.

Overall: Really good program for showing a website builder what you want approximately. But not great for a full fledged website.

    "WordPress"

Pros: Having the ability to access the coding to make customized changes, but not dependent on it (you don't need to learn any coding).

Cons: It takes some time to learn, and issues with formatting seem to happen between the backend view and what's published occasionally.

Overall: Easy to use and integrate with other apps, has good basics, but lots of customizable features, widely used so you can easily google answers or get tips.

"Build websites and host on a single platform."

    Posted 2021-10-25

Pros: - WordPress helps in building responsive websites without having learn or code anything.
    - There are a ton of pre-made templates for every theme and need that comes very handy while building the websites.
    - The Analytics tool works like a charm and gives the detailed analysis of the traffic.

    "Great CMS "

    Posted 2021-10-12

Pros: This is the most developer-friendly CMS. The amount of features offered and ease as a user is such a strength of Wordpress.

Cons: Some plugins don't work, which can be discouraging. but if you do your research you should be able to find enough feedback out there to make a good decision on what to purchase.

Overall: Overall, it makes sense why most websites are made with WordPress. It's very developer-friendly and just has the most to offer.

"Easy web design for those without skills"

    Posted 2021-09-14

Pros: WordPress is the perfect entry to website designers that don't have full access to what it takes to design modern websites. Plug and play and wysiwyg design makes for simple pages for those not in the know.

Cons: As with anything WYSIWYG, there are a lot of bells and whistles left out unless you know what you're doing. It takes trained users to get the full use of the product.

Overall: For beginner to intermediate web design, this is an easy way to create quick templates and get webpages up and running at very low cost.

"The Only Way To Go For Websites"

    Posted 2021-07-07

Pros: WordPress is the only way to go for creating a website. It's easy enough to use, and the features are endless!

Cons: The only negative I can think of would be that it's "so" robust, it could be overwhelming trying to figure out which direction to go when just getting in to it. But once you understand it, there's nothing better.

Overall: I have been using WordPress for well over 10 years now and it's just amazing. Everyone from beginners to experts can put it to use. Highly recommend!

    "Second Easiest solution Most customizable"

    Posted 2021-06-16

Pros: Pretty easy to set up a site that looks clean while being relatively low cost. You can customize most aspects of the site and can easily embed it into your own domain.

Cons: It does take some time to figure out the software. Using something like Squarespace may be better for you if you have less time to learn a product.

Overall: Loved my time with the product, however, there is a learning curve to be aware of. Maybe try to weigh options before fully diving in.

"The easiest and lightest way to create websites and blogs"

    Posted 2021-06-14

Pros: Its ease of use is one of its main benefits; despite its ease of use and its small range of variety, it allows you to develop professional-level websites without the need to spend money on expensive technicians who perform a job that WordPress can comfortably do without the need to be specialized.

Cons: Sometimes, the tool does not respond with the efficiency that users expect; it tends to get a little slow and delays users' work. It should have improvements in terms of that aspect to be able to navigate with greater efficiency and productivity.

Overall: WordPress is a tool that we use in our organization because it can be used in the simplest and fastest way without experts or technicians to use it. It allows us to prepare our marketing materials to send to our customers all the possibilities. It is a very dynamic and light tool to manage our blog and website. The difference between WordPress and other tools is that it is easier to use and is open to everyone. Very easy to adapt to all types of users. Technical or non-technical, all employees can use it comfortably and efficiently. Thanks to its ease of use, organizations no longer need to spend time training employees.

"Simplifies web dev, but also leaves much to be desired"

    Posted 2021-05-30

Pros: Wordpress powers something like half of the websites in the world, so there's lots of plugins and themes to choose from. It has a "What you see if what you get" editor, which makes it possible for people with little front-end development experience to get up and running.

Cons: The what you see is what you get editor doesn't always perform as expected. For example, it's supposed to support LaTeX rendering. But it doesn't, not out of the box even though its documentation says it should. And it's not possible for multiple users to edit a post at the same time - you need to switch off between users, which is a pain.

Overall: Wordpress makes website making more accessible for more people but sometimes underdelivers on its promises.
