"It works great for streamlining business operations."

    Posted 2023-05-12

Pros: I like NetSuite's ability to provide a complete view of the supply chain. As a user, I can track inventory levels, orders, shipments, and deliveries across multiple locations and channels. This has allowed me to optimize demand planning and production scheduling, which in turn has reduced costs and improved customer satisfaction.

I have also found the integrated financial planning and reporting tools very useful. The platform provides a variety of customizable reports on various metrics and dimensions, including revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, budgets, and forecasts. These reports can be exported to PDF, Excel or other formats for further analysis or sharing. This has significantly improved our financial planning and reporting processes.

NetSuite's automated data entry and integration capabilities are also notable. As a user, I can import data from various sources, such as bank sources, credit card statements, tax authorities or external providers. Plus, NetSuite can be integrated with other tools we use, like Salesforce, Shopify, or Gmail, to streamline workflows and data sharing. This has significantly reduced manual data entry errors and improved data accuracy.

As a complete ERP suite, NetSuite covers all the functional areas we need to run our business. We no longer have to switch between different systems or software for different tasks or departments. Everything is in one place and accessible from any device or browser. This has greatly improved the efficiency of our business and reduced the time it takes to complete various tasks.

NetSuite's robust features and capabilities have significantly improved our accounting and compliance processes. The platform supports multiple currencies, languages, tax rules, and accounting standards, which has allowed us to conduct business globally with ease. In addition, NetSuite provides audit trails, role-based permissions, and encryption to ensure data security and accuracy.

Cons: NetSuite, while an impressive platform, has its fair share of downsides. One of the most notable drawbacks to using NetSuite is its cost. As a user I have to pay an annual license fee which depends on the number of users and modules I choose. Additionally, there is a one-time implementation fee that covers the installation and configuration of the software. This can make NetSuite an expensive option for small businesses or startups. Also, it requires specialized skills and knowledge to be able to use it effectively and customize it to my needs, which can add to the cost.

Another downside to NetSuite is that it can be overwhelming and confusing for first-time users. The platform has many features and options that can be difficult to navigate or understand. This can make it difficult to use and learn, especially for non-tech-savvy users. Also, it has some quirks and limitations that can be frustrating or inconvenient. For example, some fields or reports cannot be drilled down or filtered as I would like, while some processes or transactions require multiple steps or clicks to complete. Some features are also not available or supported by certain browsers or devices.

Also, another thing I can't get over is that NetSuite can be slow or unreliable at times. The system can lag or hang when processing large amounts of data or running complex reports. You may also experience downtime or errors due to maintenance or updates. This can significantly affect my productivity and performance, especially when I need to access critical information or data.

Overall: NetSuite has been incredibly helpful in my real estate business. Its comprehensive view of the supply chain, financial planning and reporting tools, and support for automated data entry and integration have helped me manage my business operations more efficiently and effectively. I highly recommend NetSuite to anyone in the real estate industry looking for a complete ERP suite.

    "Cloud-based multifunction ERP software."

    Posted 2023-04-05

Pros: It is versatile and customizable, allowing users to tailor the platform to their specific trading needs and preferences. Users can choose from a variety of modules, create their own user interfaces, integrate with other applications, and generate custom reports and dashboards.

It is scalable and flexible, allowing users to add more users and modules as their business grows and changes. Users can also access NetSuite from any device and browser as it is hosted in the cloud.

It has strong functionality and features, covering various aspects of business operations and processes. Users can benefit from automation, workflow management, analytics, performance management, revenue management, demand planning, manufacturing, fixed asset management, contract renewal, and more. NetSuite.

Cons: It becomes expensive and may not be affordable for small businesses or startups. Users must pay an annual license fee based on the number of users and modules they need, as well as a one-time implementation fee. Users may also incur additional costs for customization, integration, training, and support.

It is difficult to use and navigate, especially for beginners or non-technical users. Users may find NetSuite overwhelming, complex or confusing at times. Users may also encounter issues with speed, performance, or bugs.

It has limited native functionality for some areas or industries, such as transportation or government accounting. Users may need to rely on third-party solutions or customizations to meet their specific needs or requirements.

Overall: NetSuite is powerful ERP software that can help businesses gain visibility, control, and agility to grow and succeed. It has a lot of potential and benefits for users who are looking for a complete and integrated system that can handle various functions and business processes. However, NetSuite is not perfect and may not be suitable for everyone. It has some drawbacks and challenges that users should be aware of before investing in it. Users should carefully assess their needs, budget, and expectations before choosing NetSuite as their ERP solution.

"NetSuite is a much more robust product"

    Posted 2022-03-16

Pros: I like that as a fully cloud-based system, NetSuite can be used to manage multiple subsidiaries from one account, and also for e-commerce. So far the core strength of NetSuite is its ability to customize everything to the individual company's business needs.

Cons: It is a little on the pricey side. When it's time to renew your contract, you will receive significant price increases. The reporting capability is more difficult than I had anticipated. Data that you believe to be linked can be difficult to report on.

Overall: Overall, this is used for accounting, inventory management, asset management, payment processing, automated production, BOM structures, and employee management. We have replaced spreadsheets and a warehouse management system with an ERP system.

"Best ERP software for small businesses"

    Posted 2022-02-17

Pros: There are many things to like about NetSuite. One of the primary benefits is that it is a comprehensive system that can handle all aspects of a business, from financials to sales to customer service. It is also very customizable, so businesses can configure it to meet their specific needs. Additionally, NetSuite is an extremely user-friendly system, which makes it easy for employees to learn and use. And finally, it is an affordable system, which makes it a cost-effective option for businesses of all sizes.

Cons: There are a few things I didn't like about NetSuite. First, the interface is not always the most intuitive, so it can take some time to get used to how everything works. Also, the pricing can be a bit expensive for small businesses.

Overall: Overall, I have had a positive experience using NetSuite. The software is easy to use and has a lot of features that can be customized to fit my business needs. I have also been impressed with the level of customer service and support that I have received from NetSuite.

Pros: This program really helps our team get more done. It is more efficient than its competitor software. They also offers a tiered and modular pricing model for companies of all sizes which helps us as a smaller business.

Cons: There is not much that is a problem or Con to me aside from the price tag... but it is worth it if you get the benefit to produce the revenue.

    "Needs a lot of improvements"

    Posted 2022-01-30

Pros: Creating customisable reports is a great value add.
You can easily manage all your work artefacts in your dashboard.
An all right tool to manage your organisational productivity.

Cons: Okay, creating reports actually feels like a game. Not in a good way, because it feels like you have to go through a million levels. Another thing is that you cant save it until you complete the report, so you know now how it feels.
The keyword searches can be a little more intuitive. Meaning that it feels too mechanical, a touch of personality to it would be great.

Overall: It has a lot of features, but that involves a lot of learning and getting used to the product before you can completely start realising its benefits.

"For the right company, it's a dream come true"

    Posted 2021-10-15

Pros: Great product that can make horrendous tasks a lot simpler, although we aren't a large company we did see a few benefits of using it when we were working with one of our biggest contracts.
I would suggest small businesses, unless you have a very dedicated team who are willing to deal with the nitty gritty, stay away until you are at full capacity and able to take on all the amazing features it provides.

Cons: If you're part of a small company, this can quickly become a daunting task to keep up to date, especially if you are transferring over from another system, it can become easy to be back logged with work.

Overall: NetSuite was brought to our attention when one of our clients advised they would be using it as a way to separate all their clients and ensure that payments for invoices to suppliers would be easy and accurate.
However after we decided to give it a try and see if we could benefit from it we quickly learned that even though there was a possibility there to make our life simpler, at this current stage it just wasn't something we needed.

    "Netsuite - Best in Class"

    Posted 2021-09-07

Pros: My favorite part of Netsuite is that you can import and export data so easily. We often Import large amounts of data from various systems. If you can export it to a CSV file then you can put it in Netsuite. We also use Netsuite's features to slice and dice the data so we can know right where we are and where we need to be.

Cons: Pricing is higher than normal. It does provide for great support but you have to pay for it.

Overall: I would buy this product again. Some companies can afford the pricing and some cannot. If you can afford it then buy it, you won't regret it and you'll find if you utilize it's features, you will most likely earn back those dollars in the form of increased productivity.

    "Unified Business Management suite "

    Posted 2021-09-06

Pros: There is a wide range of functionality and configurability. Can handle processes from inventory and part management, production, customer records, sales, billing, and shipping all in one system.
It has the ability to customize the system.
One of the best things is that NetSuite has the ability to either bundle your ow sandbox items or utilize either managed or other bundles shared to the sites.

Cons: It is hard to manage all the customizations.
Page loads speeds make it a little slower to use than a system hosted in-house would be.

Overall: Overall, NetSuite is one of the best in the field, being cloud based, I am able to access it from anywhere, it is one of the easier ERPs I have used in the past. NetSuite is remarkable because of its ease of management and flexibility-- it's so easy for me to customize this platform that there isn't any scenario where it can't be used!
