"Excellent tool to communicate each other virtually "

    Edited 2024-09-25

Pros: I like Microsoft Teams because it helps in virtual meetings, file sharing and communicating with ease. It is very useful for non-technical persons because we send direct email to them to join the meeting. I also like how I can directly join meetings by calendar and keep track of my many meetings in such an elaborate interface. Also, files can be shared directly through chat link.

Cons: Sometimes it is very hard to join despite of high bandwidth internet. It also occupies systems resources and storage resulting in poor system performance during the session. Apart from this, there is nothing to dislike about.

Overall: I connect almost daily to my team members for ongoing project using Microsoft Teams. During meeting, we all record our presentations, share files and then access all at one place, which is very pleasing and satisfying. It has given us a facility for quick communication with each other even with employee from other regions who are working in our organization. It is also useful in creating meetings within our organization for benefit of our organization.

    "Team collaboration app"

    Posted 2024-01-25

Pros: Robust app integrations enhance workflows - OneDrive, SharePoint, Power BI etc. Ability to schedule video meetings & share screens.

Cons: Lacks support for large webinars & events compared to dedicated tools. Chats & notifications can be overwhelming & hard to manage for larger teams.

Overall: Microsoft Teams brings a powerful collaboration hub to Microsoft-centric organizations. Tight office integration provides content creation & sharing capabilities within conversations. But the broad focus also brings complexity-better for structured teamwork over casual chat.

    Posted 2024-01-17

Pros: Microsoft Teams functions as a single location for teamwork, including tools like video conferencing, file sharing, chat, and interfaces with other Microsoft 365 applications. Team productivity and communication are improved by this unification. Needless to say, it integrates perfectly with other other Microsoft 365 apps.

Cons: Teams may use a lot of resources, particularly when using screen sharing and video conferences. Performance problems may arise for those with less powerful devices or with low internet speed.

Overall: One notable all-inclusive platform for teamwork and communication is Microsoft Teams. It is a useful tool for companies and organizations because of its security features, real-time communication tools, and connection with Microsoft 365 apps.

"Unite, Collaborate and succeed with Microsoft Teams !"

    Posted 2024-01-04

Pros: Microsoft Teams is a great tool for online meetings, calls, file transfers among others. It integrates seamlessly with other Microsoft 365 applications like Excel, Word and MS Powerpoint. Communication is very smooth in MS Teams such as Video conference, calls, chat and file transfers. Microsoft Teams has a very robust security and compliance features to help secure our data and communications. This is a very helpful mean for team members working at remote locations. This can be scaled to meet the needs of small and large organizations alike. MS Teams can also be customized with third-party Apps to meet specific needs and workflows.

Cons: MS Teams has a wide range of features and capabilities which are sometimes overwhelming for new users. It requires time and training for users to fully understand and utilize the features. MS teams is also very resource intensive especially when using on old systems. This generally leads to slower performance. Guest access in MS Teams is very limited, as Guests have no access to Chats once they leave the call.

Overall: Overall, we have positive reviews about Microsoft Teams especially for its seamless integration with other MS applications, and its robust collaboration features. I personally appreciate its unified platform for communication be it a video call, a meetings, file or data transfer. Its is a valuable tool for team collaboration, particularly for remote work scenario.

Pros: Using Microsoft Teams has significantly improved our organizational experience. Microsoft Teams seamlessly integrates with other Microsoft applications used in our organization. The chat functionality, Virtual meetings, file sharing capabilities have supported us a lot during our virtual collaborations.

Cons: The mobile app apart from having all the features can be a bit cluttered when you have multiple channels. If the app interface have been a bit more user friendly it would have been perfect then.

Overall: My overall experience has been quite positive. It has significantly improved collaboration with seamless integration, robust chat & video conferencing features. The platform ensures efficient communication. Overall it has been a valuable tool for fostering teamwork & virtual connectivity.

    "Excellent Product by Microsoft"

    Edited 2022-11-11

Pros: Microsoft Teams is an incredible video conference product. Anyone (who gets a meeting invite) from anywhere can join meetings/webinars using any device on Microsoft Teams. Comes complimentary with Microsoft 365. Helps in team collaboration. Enterprise plans are inexpensive.

Cons: Microsoft should have worked on its UI. It's not responsive.

Overall: We got a Microsoft Team addon with Microsoft 365 service. We are using this for our team collaboration. It makes discussions with coworkers less complicated. It allows mobile and desktop client access to meetings/webinars.

    "Surprisingly Vast"

    Posted 2022-11-07

Pros: Teams does far more than just messaging. My personal favorite element is the integration of other Microsoft products into Teams to easily edit collaborative documents. The video conferencing also works well, and I appreciate the ease of immediate video calling instead of having to send out a link.

Cons: I almost feel like some of the features are hidden. I have been using Teams for over two years, but still find new things that I wasn't aware existed. They have a lot of great functions, but the user interface doesn't necessarily promote all of these.

Overall: It is a great option for team communication, collaboration on documents, and video conferencing. It works well on the mobile app and on computers to be a well-rounded software.

    "Microsoft Teams Review"

    Posted 2022-09-29

Pros: I think as a platform Teams scales really well especially if you have a large startup or company.
The meeting system on Teams is also extremely well done, our team while using Teams directly used the meeting features with videos but while on Slack we used Zoom.

Cons: The UI and UX was quite hard to get used to, especially when coming from Slack it was night and day difference.
It also seemed it was hard to bring external files and documents unto Teams, I think Teams pushed using their own technology like Docs and Excel for reading files which caused us quite some issues at the start.

Overall: I believe Teams is an ecosystem of what you need to run your startup or business, Slack the alternative feels less like it and more of a feature.
Once you start to scale and attract more employees and customers, I believe Teams is the superior solution, but perhaps not for early stage startups.

Pros: Teams has helped us streamline our internal communication and prevent long email threads that get lost in our inboxes.

Cons: Not all team members are 100% fully transitioned over to Teams. It’s hard to change that mindset.

Overall: In general, we’ve been able to keep track of regular recurring items better by creating specific channels for related topics and it’s helped our team be on the same page.

    "Great Line of Communication"

    Posted 2022-08-09

Pros: I love how you not only can use Teams for chats, but you can also save files/documents/sheets on there in one area to then be shared with everyone that needs access. To me, it felt like another version of Google Drive, but with a chatting system as well.

Cons: When I was using it there was a limited amount of chats you could have. I am not sure if that is still the same, but I would look into it incase it is still the case.

Overall: Overall, I know there are a lot of systems out there that are used for communication among a company, but I would say this is one of my favorite ones I have used so far.

    - system resource hog

Overall: Teams is a decent choice for communication in an organization. It's free, integrates with Microsoft Office software easily, and is generally pretty stable. However, its featureset and overall performance leave a lot to be desired compared to Slack and Discord.

Pros: Microsoft Teams has an organized interface that bundles teams and organizes individuals allowing me to cater my message the exact people it's meant for. It saves me time and makes sure everyone is on the same page as a company.

Cons: There could be greater customization (color, labels, etc) when it comes to the chat system. The meetings I have get bundled with previous conversations and takes time to organize everything.

Pros: The integrations are incredible! I expected it would integrate with other Microsoft products well, which it does, but it also integrates with many software products I would not have expected. One example is PandaDoc, which we use for all of our electronic signatures.

Cons: The ability to connect a phone line to teams is cost prohibitive given there are other solutions with phone lines at a much more affordable rate.

Overall: Overall, which the exception of the one con noted above, this solution does everything we had hoped it would and more!
