"Was great, Could be great again with real support" Posted 2023-10-28
Pros: Ability to completely manage site development. Easy to use editor. Git integration. Support for many different languages.
Cons: Support basically does not exist. What was a really nice editor that helped find typos and other errors is now flagging legitimate code as errors. I've been using it for a few years now and would happily keep using it if it was supported. The ability to quickly upload any changed files to either a test site or a production site saves hours and it much better than slamming the whole site to production with 3rd party tools.
Overall: Love it but so frustrated with eroding usability that I want to switch. I'm tired of it hanging dozens of times a day needing a force quit and the editor no longer being a reliable indicator of problems.

"Good WYSIWYG website editor " Posted 2022-08-06
Pros: - makes designing a website easy with drag and drop components
- compatible with CMS platforms like WordPress and Drupal
- can export design as codeCons: - code generated on export is poor in quality compared to custom developed product
- very complex and difficult to learn interface
- requires expensive Adobe subscriptionOverall: Dreamweaver is a good choice for a platform-agnostic website designer. It's feature packed and can export code, even if that code is worse than a developer would create.

"Still the best Website design tool" Posted 2020-06-01
Pros: Real time preview.
Built in support for responsive design.
Great integration with other Adobe tools.
Support for third party platforms like WordPress, Joomla or Drupal.Cons: Complex interface.
Steep learning curve for beginners.Overall: Adobe Dreamweaver is still one of the best choice for designing mobile and desktop websites. Although its complex interface may seem daunting for some beginners, it is the most mature choice for a WYSIWYG editor and comes with a ton of features.
