Exactly what I was looking for: tiny download, zero hassle to set up and no impact on the PC on which it's used. Documentation and in-app notices are also very good.

I wish authors of this good product to correct some errors and therefore make it yet better: 1. The interface font is too small for people with not perfect sight. 2. Though my Desktop uses enlarged font setting, here it seems doesn't help. 3. There's no options to enlarge font in this program. 4. The window of entering password for MySQL server - at the very beginning of usage of this program - cuts off the lower string - where the password must be entered. So it's unusable. Maybe because the window heading bar has height more than standard due to enlarged system font. 5. Both my e-mails are not accepted by http://uniformserver.com forum board, so I can't register and give a feedback there. I would attach a screenshot. Still, a good idea, and I hope could use this program soon!

Currently, I'm using the miniserver MediaWiki version. I like the idea of a small and simple solution, but I'm struggling to update PHP because my current MediaWiki is of a higher version, thus requires a higher version of PHP, but nothing I do updates it, even transferring the newer PHP files. It just doesn't register it, or I get a missing module error, even tho it's all there. Or can I just transfer my existing MediaWiki, from xampp, to this miniserver?

Please use the latest Uniform Server version (https://sourceforge.net/projects/miniserver/files/latest/download). Previous releases (such as the MediaWiki version) are outdated and unsupported.

Seems OK, but I wanted it for fast and quick usage. Would be great if it could use no password for root. Also everytime I start apache a html page pops up. I'm going back to XAMPP.

Very easy to setup and run. I started using it many years ago to develop and run PHP applications on Windows computer. Compared to XAMPP, which is another great alternative, Uniform Server has some dev friendly features like ability to switch PHP versions and between different php.ini configurations, for example with or without XDebug extension. Nothing to install, no registry entries, just run it. Highly recommended! Thank you guys for excellent work.

Right after unpacking freshly downloaded archive from here I'm getting: Path error: Spaces are not allowed, please correct and run the app again. This is dissapointing. Fix it and I'll fix my review.

Great tool for local development web server. Easy to set up. I found it much better than other WAMP packages, even commercial ones.

In order to make UniformServer easy to use for our users, we have included a couple of Automated Scripts built with AutoIT. Unfortunately any script written in AutoIT gets flagged down. Please see the Announcement made on the UniformServer Forum at http://forum.uniformserver.com/topic/3332-uniform-server-zero-malware-is-a-false-positive/ Please be assured that there is no Trojan, Virus or Malware included in the package. We have included the source code of these files on our Github repo as well. The application update in v14_0_1 has now removed the need for AutoI Scripts in the main package and you should no longer have the files getting flagged as a virus.

We have updated all the modules in our new Uniform Server XIV Release. The UniController is also now open Source on Github at https://github.com/iamola/uniserver.

Thanks Uniform Team. Nice Staff and suitable for Wuser and keep improve for it in future. ZeroIII seem client computer must install framework, as my case is i'm turn back to ZeroI keep this inconverniece step. Wish it can be fixxed from coming version ^.~

Wow... Got it working straight out of the box after following the READ.txt on install notes. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. Spent days installing, uninstalling and fiddling with the old wamp and xampp that I used to use and could not get them working. You saved me!

Im using this apps for about 4 years. I installed for my client, running very nice. No issues at all. But, on past 3 versions im looking for to change PHP versions between.. But i unable to swtch beteern. Because the options to select the other PHP versions are greyed of. Even i downloaded manually the PHP54 , and i extracted inside "core" folder , still i have no option to choose. Plz advise..
