I was absolutely smitten by @g00bergoo Skater Park AU designs! They're so cool and adorable!
I made a few personal changes but kept the overall designs as close to the original as possible. You can definitely see the AU takes place in the 90‘s because of the bright colors and style.
Very awesome! 😎✨
TLH Thoughts - Predict Ability and Driving Ambition
(yes I know I skipped writeups on a lot of episodes. all you need to know is that I loved Loudest Thanksgiving and of course Really Loud Music. Some of others from late last year are alright but those are the top tier ones.)
Predict Ability - not the best story (it has - wait for this - a pretty predictable story), but makes up for it in really showcasing cartooning. The second dream sequence takes advantage of being a dream, and is one of the most surreal sequences this show has ever had, I loved it. I could actually relate to Lincoln’s fear of bring boring because he does the same things a little bit, though I don’t worry about it because other people don’t worry about it. Nobody in the episode actually worried about Lincoln doing the same things, a little annoyance sure but not enough to straight up tell him to change, which pretty much sets up the ending. Overall alright.
Driving Ambition - definitely the better one of these too, I like it when cartoons do episodes like this that expand on old mentioned things, in this case both Lori and golf and Lori’s life after high school. A good mix of heart and deranged animation makes Lori both sweet and hilarious. I was kind of expecting Lincoln to be the one that would be the screwup here but surprisingly that really ended up just going to Lori, and she fixes her up with a lot of support, good on her. Continues Lori’s (I feel it is very long at this point) streak of good episodes, and probably one of the very best at that.
