#Somalia's Constitution-building process is progressing! In Kismayo, #Jubbaland State, Ministry of Justice & Constitutional Affairs JSS with support from United Nations Development Programme - UNDP, held a public consultation on Chapters 5-9 of the Federal Provisional Constitution. This effort aims to foster an inclusive review, ensuring active participation from all sectors, enhancing transparency, civic engagement, and strengthening the social contract among #Somalis. Funded by the Somali Joint Fund (SJF), this collaboration paves the way for tangible progress in state-building for a prosperous and stable Somalia.

Somali justice sector leaders learn transformative leadership skills ! 50 high-level officials representing the Somali justice sector were equipped with transformative leadership skills to help them enhance justice delivery, including through the use of nonviolent communication and restorative justice. The participants were common justice stakeholders in both Federal Member States and Federal Government of Somalia. The transformational Leadership Programme will enable them to work in collaboration to addressing the justice needs of Somalia.
