Last week, four of our colleagues volunteered with PLAMIENOK n.o., a non-profit organisation providing hospice care, grief counseling and therapy for children and their families. ☀️ At the start of the summer, our teams enjoyed a well-deserved day off at beautiful resort near the Carpathian Mountains. The day was packed with exciting activities from beach volleyball and pottery class to refreshing dips in the pool and a challenging high rope obstacles course. But the highlight? We are proud to have joined Diversity Charter Slovakia. On May 30th, our colleagues Zuzana Muranyi and Anna Butašová attended the signing ceremony at the Forbes Business Fest in Bratislava. Together with UNIQA Group Service Center Slovakia , we became one of the 158 signatories of the Charter.   We are committed to fostering a culture of mutual respect, trust, empathy, learning and inclusion. This May has been a fantastic month filled with opportunities to connect with bright minds of the next generation. We had the pleasure of engaging with students at various universities and at our own premises, sharing our knowledge and expertise in several key areas: 📊 Just like last year, we hosted students from Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave for a brilliant lecture on the topic of Risk in Insurance by our colleague Tomáš Švihorík. 📚 In another session at the university, Lucia Paldanová talked to students about the life of actuary, highlighting the crucial role actuarial science plays in the financial industry. 🔒 Our colleague Marek Pinka delivered a compelling lecture on Security in Financial Institutions at the University of Zilina. We are always thrilled to collaborate with universities and share our expertise with the next generation of industry professionals.
