Recently, we were proud partners at a business breakfast organised by AmCham Slovakia's Digital Committee, which focused on "Data's New Dawn: Sovereign Clouds and Digital ID". ☁️ 🎤 Martina Slabejova, Director of AmCham, introduced our Managing Director Andreas Truls, who welcomed the guests with inspiring opening remarks, sparking interest in the latest digital trends and developments. 🎤 Martin Hrachala from the Ministry of the Interior presented the perspective of the state and public institutions. Our experts Sylvain Galus and Martin Junger presented the transformative potential of sovereign clouds and digital IDs, demonstrating innovative solutions and best practices that T-Systems is delivering to the healthcare sector in Germany. Both perspectives emphasised the importance of maintaining control over data and outlined ways to capitalise on existing opportunities while addressing upcoming challenges. In the panel discussion that followed, Marián Illovský (auditori.it), Rudolf Kellner (MIRRI) and Silvin Gálus (T-Systems International GmbH) discussed the challenges of approving digital identity solutions, supporting EU market integration, compliance with sovereign cloud solutions and the link between digital identities and cloud sovereignty. 🙌 We would like to thank AmCham Slovakia for organising this important event and all the speakers and panellists for shedding light on this important and timely topic.
