🚀 Big News from AirExplore! 🚀 AirExplore, Slovakia’s largest airline and a member of Avia Solutions Group, has expanded its cargo capacity with 3 new B737-800 full freighter aircraft! 🛫✈️ Our fleet now totals 17 aircraft, with 9 for passenger transport and 8 dedicated to cargo operations. These Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft help us reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, and noise footprint. CEO Martin Štulajter states: "With the rise of e-commerce volumes, air freight operations are becoming more viable. We expect to phase out older aircraft for our newer B737-800 NG series." Did you know that the air on planes is much cleaner than in most cities today? 🏙️ Air filters running onboard keep the air inside clean by recirculation throughout the journey. Most commercial aircraft are equipped with HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters that clean 40% of the cabin air, while the remaining 60% is fresh air drawn in from outside the plane. We'd like to highlight that the cabin air is completely refreshed every three minutes on average while the aircraft is cruising. Plus, air humidifiers optimize cabin humidity by adding moisture to the refreshed air. If you ever feel like the air on your flight is insufficient, you can use the ventilation valves above your seats for more airflow. How to be a better airline passenger? ✈️🧳 Our cabin crew reveals their top pet peeves and what you can do to help ensure a smoother journey for everyone onboard. 1️⃣ 𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 Be prompt when boarding the plane to help speed up the process and settle into your seat efficiently. 2️⃣ 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐛𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 Respect the overhead bin space by keeping your carry-on above your designated seat, avoiding unnecessary movement and frustration. Also, try to refrain from asking crew members to lift your heavy luggage. 3️⃣ 𝐀𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 Save personal requests for after boarding to allow flight attendants to focus on pre-flight tasks and maintain on-time departure.
