Wunsiedel (German pronunciation: [ˈvʊnˌziːdl̩] (audio speaker iconlisten)) is the seat of the Upper Franconian district of Wunsiedel in northeast Bavaria, Germany.

Geography

Wunsiedel is in the Fichtelgebirge Mountains in the valley of the Röslau at the foot of the Kösseine Plateau.
