Veikko Kankkonen

Veikko Kankkonen (born 5 January 1940) is a retired Finnish ski jumper. He competed at the 1960, 1964 and at the 1968 Winter Olympics. He won two medals in 1964 with a gold in the individual normal hill and a silver in the individual large hill event.[1][2] He was born in Sotkamo, Finland.

Kankkonen won the Holmenkollen medal (shared with Eero Mäntyranta, Georg Thoma, and Halvor Næs).
