Tahoua is a city in Niger. It is the capital of Tahoua Region. As of the 2012 census, 117,826 people lived there which makes it the fourth largest city in the country by population. It is mainly a market town for the surrounding agricultural area. The city has two main ethnic groups are the Fulani and Tuareg.
