Shirley Jean Douglas OC (April 2, 1934 – April 5, 2020) was a Canadian actress and activist. She was born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Her career began in 1950 and she retired in 2013. She played Mrs. Starch in the 1962 movie Lolita. Her father was Premier of Saskatchewan Tommy Douglas.
Douglas was married to Donald Sutherland from 1966 through 1970. They had three children, including Kiefer Sutherland.[1]
Douglas died in Toronto of pneumonia-related problems three days after her 86th birthday on April 5, 2020.[2]
