Shasta Dam

Shasta Dam (called Kennett Dam before it was made),[1] is a dam on the Sacramento River in California. It was built from 1938 to 1945. It is 602 ft (183 m) high and 3,460 ft (1,055 m) long. It creates a lake called Shasta Lake. It is a popular spot for boating and fishing.
