The Royal Bournemouth Hospital is a general hospital in Bournemouth, Dorset, England.
History
[change | change source]In 1989, The first part of the hospital was built and replaced a different hospital. A second building was opened by Princess Anne in 1992 and two more were opened in 2005 and 2007.[2][3]
In 2010, services from Christchurch Hospital were given to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.[4]
On 6 May 2022, Charles, Prince of Wales opened a garden at the hospital as a memorial for staff who died in the COVID-19 pandemic.[5]
