Nicolo Turco (15 January 2004 in Tortona) is an Italian football player. He plays as forward for the Austrian 2nd league team FC Liefering on loan from FC Red Bull Salzburg.
Career
[change | change source]Turco started his career at CFC Genoa. For the 2018/19 season he went to the youth team of Juventus Turin. He played for the Primavera team from the 2021/22 season on. He also played in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 UEFA Youth League seasons.
In July 2023, he went to the Austrian Bundesliga club FC Red Bull Salzburg. [1] In Salzburg he was loaned to FC Liefering. He made his debut in the second division in the same month when he came on for Luka Reischl in the 45th minute against FC Dornbirn 1913 on the first day of the 2023/24 season.
In August 2024, Turco returned to Italy on loan. He mo toved AC Milan's third-tier reserves. [2]
National team
[change | change source]Turco played for an Italian youth national team for the first time in February 2019. In September 2022 he made his debut for the U-19 team. With that he also took part in the EM in 2023. He became European champion with Italy. He played in all games except the final.
