Nelly Olin

Nelly Olin (23 March 1941 – 26 October 2017)[1] was a French politician. She was a Minister of Environment in France under Dominique de Villepin's government from 2005 through 2007.[2] From 2004 to 2005, Olin was the Minister-Delegate for Social Security. She was a Senator for the Oise department.

Olin served as Mayor of Garges-lès-Gonesse and Senator, both offices from 1995 to 2004.

Olin died on 26 October 2017 in Paris of complications from breast cancer. She was at age 76.[3]
