High Speed 2 (HS2) is a planned high-speed railway line in the United Kingdom. It will go between London and Handsacre near Birmingham. The railway will be the country's second high-speed line, the first being HS1, which linked London to the Channel Tunnel.[1] London, Birmingham and Birmingham Airport will be served by HS2. Phase 2b to Leeds was cancelled in 2021 and Phase 2a to Manchester was cancelled in 2023.
